It's interesting that the bible concerns itself mostly with Israel and their wanderings in the world, to and fro, up and down in it. Everytime they go to Egypt they go down into into Egypt and everytime they come out of Egypt, they come up out of egypt. What we don't know in detail is what and...

I was looking at leaven the other day. Jesus likened it to hypocrisy in the church. I understand your comparison of growth, but then there is the puffed up and prideful that kneads to be factored in. Where unleavened bread is sincerity there is no work kneaded for the perfect bread. It's this...

I'm not sure without looking, but I believe Caiaphas the High Priest and Herod were both given those positions of authority by Caesar? So who was Israel following when Jesus came? hugs

There was another that used to frequent here in the non-christian threads. I.O.U I havent seen them for awhile but I think about him often. I believe he spoke to me about the same kind of things you are speaking of Dev. I believe he lived in Australia and was living day to day whichever way the...

I believe the book of Revelation is focused but not only, on the time of the generation in which Jesus lived and walked among men. There is the before, the during and the later.. The former and latter rain. If I look at Israel as the beast "Kingdom" which was wounded with a sword.. (The word of...

I believe that the first rapture we are part of will be the only one Israel will have seeing they neglected the first calling. But Christians in this new age, this is our first chance, like Israel was given a first chance when Jesus came. But you know, going through the OT God has never stopped...

You see what God fed the children with in the wilderness that they called manna? Psa 74:14 Thou brakest the heads of leviathan in pieces, and gavest him to be meat to the people inhabiting the wilderness. There is a saying, goes something like... You are what you eat. Just thinking.. Hugs

If your looking for the root of iniquity it is found in the heart of Adam and Eve. The first root. Their lust and desire in their heart to be as gods knowing how to be independent of him and doing things their own way, is the iniquity of coveteousness and lust in the heart. Who put it there...

You know what prevents us mostly from seeing the truth? Fear. We are afraid that if we take a chance on believing what someone says is truth, we don't want to displease God by falling into the trap of being led by false prophets. I get that. But when the Word of God testifies of itself and one...

I was working on Esau last night, and the verse in Malachi about how God hated Esau and love Jacob. That was a long road.. anyways.. I found what had displeased God about Esau was his mocking his brothers (Jacob's) demise. He not only sat back and laughed in the day of their calamity, he took...

I been here on the forum since I woke up at 2am this morning. I will be getting ready to visit dad shortly,, and when I get back I will be back in the forum searching out the wonderful truths and mysteries of God. Politics has left the building. I have no interest in it at this time. And that's...

Goin back and looking in the book of Exodus, Pharoah was building a Kingdom. He set his slaves to gather straw to make bricks. If you notice what Pharoah was having them build was his treasure houses. And I found that interesting, because Jesus says where your treasure is that is where your...

Yes it is. And they are scattered across the face of the earth. And they are making names for themselves like Nimrod attempted but God fixed that problem. And the one Pharoah tried to build, and God fixed that too. The he put Moses in charge and showed him the pattern, but they could not see the...

It takes faith to go through the door. Jesus has already made the way clear for those seeking entrance. All we have to do is knock. And remembering that while we battle our way back to him, that battle belongs to the Lord. And it is he which goes before us and it id he which is our rereward. In...

1Co 13:12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. Hugs

Babylon is the Kingdom which was established under Moses. It is Israel in all it's glory and all it's sins. It was created as a protytpe upon the earth to lead man to God. But it was overtaken by Satan and his minions and those that only think evil thoughts and devise evil scemes upon their...

1Co 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? 1Pe 2:5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. Luk 17:21 Neither shall they say, Lo here...

What is the Kingdom of God? The Kingdom of God is something in which we strive to enter. The Kingdom of God is where he wants to spend time with us. More importantly than what is it, is where is it? Hugs
