"Have you ever had a spiritual paranormal encounter?"

Ouch! What denomination were they? ;)

Do I Have To Go To Church?

But this could also have been said about the Germans during the Nazi regime. They were so focused on their own lives they didn't notice how evil the society had become.

Do I Have To Go To Church?

And nasty is a fruit of a religious bent...not of Christ. A lot of fakeness going on these days to be sure.

Hates the sin and Loves the sinner

In your scheme then you are saying that all sinners are saved?...or just the ones that spell Jesus' name correctly?...or have their religious ducks in a row to fill out a political questionnaire about doctrinal preferences? Or are we all going to reap what we sow...and God will judge everyone...

Do I Have To Go To Church?

Too often the religious institutions are just repositories of spiritual diseases, infections, and contamination. I mean, here the devil has everybody that could threaten him in one place. (And that's nothing to sneeze at)

Hates the sin and Loves the sinner

So then love the hell out of the sinner.

    A good christian fake book?

Christian music is the same as non-Christian music. Just like Christian English is the same as non-Christian English. Nobody becomes a skilled Christian musician. Nobody becomes a Christian English specialist. Learn the language of music...humbly...and make music to the Lord that way. God does...

Body of Christ never mentioned in Revelation, but The Bride is.

So who are in the "nations of they who are saved" ? No amount of dogmatic ideology (neo-political conservatism) that you like so much can explain this.

    Its not what you know

In God's case...translation into Zion. Think Enoch!

Body of Christ never mentioned in Revelation, but The Bride is.

That's being righteous. People of all religions do this. Loving your neighbour as yourself. Being led by the Spirit is always about doing miraculous things...that no man can do on his own. Walking in the Spirit by abiding in Christ makes us walk EXACTLY as Jesus did...no sin whatsoever.

Body of Christ never mentioned in Revelation, but The Bride is.

Notice that the eternal fruit is at different levels of honour...gold, silver and precious stones. Gold would be walking in the light as Jesus did. And precious stones are those times where we are led to do the things that were prepared in advance. (Unsure where silver fits in...but it is...

Body of Christ never mentioned in Revelation, but The Bride is.

We can still bear an eternal kind of fruit by being LED by the Spirit...which is far less than walking IN the Spirit (as Jesus did). There is a difference between someone who is abiding in Christ and one who goes to Christ for direction...or is listening to God's voice.

Body of Christ never mentioned in Revelation, but The Bride is.

We all follow the Lord from different distances. So few walk in the Spirit...and not too many are led by the Spirit. Many turn to God when He is needed...but are just fine on heir own most of the time.

Body of Christ never mentioned in Revelation, but The Bride is.

The bride of Christ is a small subset of the body of Christ. Just like when Eve was taken from one rib of Adam's chest....that which was next to his heart.

Do I Have To Go To Church?

A stage and a microphone are for entertainment. The simple gathering of brothers around the Lord is what it is all about. Committing one to another in the fear of the Lord. All the rest is just spectacle and entertainment.
  16. Episkopos

Body of Christ never mentioned in Revelation, but The Bride is.

The modern doctrine seeks to take the righteousness away from the righteous and make normal human righteousness to be God's own righteousness. This lowers the standard so much that anyone can claim to be as righteous as God while still being a sinner. AND it denies that others who are doing much...

    Weird day yesterday

The whole situation is getting unfringed by the sound of it. Sounds like a fringe group though, in spite of that.

Body of Christ never mentioned in Revelation, but The Bride is.

Well, a lot of Messianics hold to that view. The truth is that the saints come from every tribe and tongue and nation. In Christ there is no distinction. They are the bride. The guests are the righteous and these also come from every nation.

    Bad Arguments

I'm reminded of the Monty Python skit where the man is looking to buy an argument with someone. Man, all he had to do was join a church discussion group.

    Its not what you know

It's actually what you DO with what you have been given. God is NOT a respecter of persons. Many will try the ploy of trying to call out Lord, Lord.
