I agree with you in many ways...but this I have to disagree with...if Jesus is alive and well and lives in us today and He was called a prophet then how can there be no such thing as prophets today? The Holy Spirit indwelling in us is constantly speaking to us and through us in scripture as well...

Fear does work but it also gives them a false perception of God....hard to see Him as a loving Father when you fear Him as a God of persecution.

Well, it is rather new terminology in regards to spiritual visions for me anyway.

Basically they are promoting their ideology of how they interpret it to mean.....so it is wise to stick with the Bible and seek the understanding of it from the Holy Spirit not from another person's writing.

Why does someone have to write a book about something written in the Bible? Didn't the Holy Spirit do a good enough job?

Wouldn't it be more appropriate to say you received the Holy Spirit? The Spirit of Truth that opened your eyes to see?

The book is fictional....so to base a belief on a fictional writing that uses "incorrect" interpretation of the Bible is what is wrong.
