Amen! Jesus showed her mercy! Fortunately for all of us God has a whole lot of that. Probably all of us need to have more of it: "Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy" Matt 5:7

Even so my friend! We were not sent to proselytize. What is the work of God? "Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent." John 6:29 "Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem...

@My Dreams Praying for God's will in the situation!

I just now watched it and thought it was well presented. What God wants, I believe, is men, who choose to love and obey Him when they have alternatives... God provided also the alternatives as He did for Adam and Eve! God want us to be with Him and He wants to be with us... but Not as a...

Ignore His promise? What is a covenant? Is it one sided? "I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars: And hast borne, and hast patience, and...

Praying!

The important thing is to always put first things, according to God, first! God made all of planet Earth and so many things on it "very good" , I believe, for our benefit. We are certainly allowed to and should enjoy them in ways pleasing to God. Music is part of that, but like everything...

Give God the glory!

I believe that you do have the right priority in putting the Word in front of musical attractions. Some people make the wrong choices. Elvis Presley from what I have read was one. As a young man he apparently loved God, but his God-given talent was too much temptation for him to handle. He...

@Holy999 Praying for the girl!

When we sin, we are quenching the Holy Spirit. When we are in the Spirit being led by the Spirit, we do not sin at all... I try not to look at the other guy and say he is sinning therefore he is quenching the Spirit. Let the other guy bring the subject up with me if he wants to... Unless God...

I am with you sister. God has helped me with getting rid of a lot of junk, but there is music that is not of the devil available that may not be Christian. We need God to help us with that. My personal preferences sometimes get mixed up with what is really approved by God. We always need to...

The problem for any us arises when we quench the Holy Spirit in ourselves. Every place I have ever attended church services has taught people to do that. Some are not as bad as others, but they all do it. When the Spirit in us is quenched what read in the written Bible is misunderstood by us...

Too much quenching of the Spirit going on in too many people in too many of those places. I used to go visiting lots of local places when my old pastor was cast out in late 2018, but I had never found a place where I could do more than visit. Then the Covid-19 lockdown began and most church...

What you present in accord with your beliefs and traditions sounds too much to me like the ways of the Samaritans. The people then mixed what they were taught from the law of Moses with their own pagan ways. Can we understand why they were not liked much at all by the people of Judah/Judea in...

Aha, when I was a child in the early 1950's my mother own a stack of vinyl records from the 1940's. I would put them on the record player and listen to them. I did not start listen to much contemporary music until I started high school [1957]. I still like a lot of those old songs. TLH is...
