Agreed and this is the point where we need to bring our sinful ways before God and repent... ...and this is where you believe that the original commitment made at salvation covers even future sin and you're wrong... When we were forgiven at salvation, it does not mean that every other sin we...

Great speech but it doesn't fit the relationship we have with Christ under the new covenant, through the Holy Spirit. What you are discussing is following the ways of the Law. The Holy Spirit is our helper and when we have sinned in such a way that it grieves the Holy Spirit, you will become...

Yes, I believe that sin separates you from God. I don't lack faith in any way. I believe that you need to genuinely repent of sin to be back in right relationship with him. It only takes repentance from the heart however, some believe that they can continue to walk their old sinful life and...

Yes, I do...do you?

"Everyone recognizes that Stephen was Spirit-filled when he was performing wonders. Yet, he was just as Spirit-filled when he was being stoned to death." ~ Leonard Ravenhill

"How little chance the Holy Ghost has nowadays. The churches and missionary societies have so bound Him in red tape that they practically ask Him to sit in a corner while they do the work themselves." ~ C.T. Studd

"Every revival worthy of the name begins in the restoration of the Word of God to the pulpit, and its fearless proclamation by those anointed of God to preach the Gospel." ~Wilbur M. Smith.

"Any concept of grace that makes us feel more comfortable sinning is not biblical grace. God's grace never encourages us to live in sin, on the contrary, it empowers us to say no to sin and yes to truth." ~ Randy Alcorn

If you had asked if sin can separate you from God. I would have said yes and then given you these verses...Isaiah 59:2, James 4:4, Luke 16:13, Romans 6:16, Galatians 6:7, Ephesians 4:30. Be Blessed!

What would you like me to say??? she's just a girl...who obviously hurt you somehow...

Wow that was a great discussion in relation to the book of Hebrews. Is there other things we can discuss regarding things we find common in our belief systems?

Amen! well said WW!

Amen, I agree. I also think that If it were something Jesus promoted, it would have been written in his word and it is not. Only Leviticus 19:28 gives us any clues about tattoos and even there, he is speaking to a nation he has called to himself to be set apart from the nations around them. Are...

Hi Beloved212 Hope to see you around the forum... Bless Ya!

Well then...I must be stating my opinion which I have said in the above post...If God didn't like it then, I'm sure he hasn't changed his mind today :) Hmmm... I was not aware that the Judaic Jews practiced the art of praying for the dead?
