Believers are not in darkness but are in the light. Acts 26:18 - to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me. 2 Corinthians 6:14...

1 John 1:8 - If we say that we have no sin, (present tense) we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say that we have not sinned, (past tense) we make Him a...

1 Corinthians 1:18 - For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

In the ultimate sense, apart from the righteousness of God which is by faith and the blood of Christ to wash away our sins, (Romans 3:24-28; Philippians 3:9) we would ALL reap hell. (Romans 3:10-12, 23; 6:23) The wages of sin (what we deserve) is death BUT the gift of God is eternal life through...

Ephesians 1:13 - In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, 14 who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of...

John 6:39 - This is the will of Him who sent Me, that of all that He has given Me I lose nothing, but raise it up on the last day. John 10:27 - My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; (not some of them follow Me and some of them don't) 28 and I give eternal life to them...

So true! The left are following the marching orders of their father, the devil.

I was just thinking the dirty tricks they are using come straight out of the communist playbook.

Some people don't like OSAS because they prefer works-righteousness over the righteousness of God which is by faith and self-preservation over God's preservation. Some people want to do it themselves and save. It's a pride issue.

Jesus actually kept the Sabbath. The Pharisees hated Jesus because He did not support their legalism. Jesus said, “the Son of man is Lord of the Sabbath.” This statement was in response to the accusation by the Pharisees that Jesus' disciples were breaking the law regarding resting on the...

I would just like to add more verses in regard to the "water is a symbol of cleansing" interpretation. In John 4:10, Jesus said - “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, ‘Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water" and in John 4:14...

Romans 10:8 - But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): 9 that if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the...
