Certainly, the Holy Spirit is not confusing to the Holy Spirit! Only by the Holy Spirit may a person know for certain if a spirit is of God... or not. Good reason to never quench the Spirit! How many of us are doing that? Anyone, I believe, who sins against God [does anything displeasing to...

Of course, there are people who try play games with God as well as with other people. There are also wolves in sheep's clothing. Be careful not to presume that every time you see wool it must involve a disguised wolf! God knows. Who among us is able to understand clearly the heart of every...

How perfect was the man Adam made by God? Are you missing a perfect vision of God's plan? Did God's plan contain any errors? What is written about God's Word? Did He not speak it perfectly? "So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall...

Distinguishing between good and evil may be for carnal man an impossibility even though he often is certain that he can. Can a deluded Christian be really a carnal man? It is as easy and black and white, right? Good fruit and bad fruit, right? How many people carrying the label of Christian...

Yes, within a couple of years after I received the gift of tongues [1976], I met on my job a Catholic who spoke in tongues. We used to meet together daily at lunch time with a few others to pray and talk about God together. Our group consisted of believers from across the denominational...

If it is Jesus and He is Alpha and Omega...? Is He not that Tree? Are we not to eat His flesh and drink His blood? Give God the glory indeed!

Amen!

How loud is too loud?

Thank you, my friend!

Do you ever get the notion that not everyone on this forum has a mind like Einstein... even though some, at times, act as if they do? I do not believe that Einstein ever pressed a "my way or the highway" attitude. Does anyone here?

Perhaps the Holy Ghost is involved...? But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. What is the purpose of the quickening of the Spirit?

Another update here: Things could be worse. My lung spot according to one specialist could be from a hiatal hernia or other digestive issues. That is one of the other possibilities for me. I had a virtual appointment with a gastro specialist on Monday [11-29] to check out some of the other...

Would you really put someone in that category without knowing their heart? What is it that we are to hope for? What is the evidence of that which the carnal eye cannot see?

This is why I can call you my brother easily even though I am unable to embrace the Trinity! We do not live by knowledge alone nor by the logic of men alone. That is for certain. What do we hope for? What do we see? "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not...

Yes, the ATs [Absolute Truths] of one person versus the ATs of another!

You and 'me too' brother!

We can all be right to "me". I guess the right question to answer is, "What is right to God?" Will the logical mind alone of any man be able to correctly answer it?

Whose doctrine? Every church group has its own doctrines. Perhaps every person who differs even slightly from others in his beliefs has his own doctrines. As to being a Christian, must a person believe in the Trinity to be a follower of Christ, the Messiah? Christian: [used in Acts 26:28]...

Everyone may have an opinion, but your words will mean nothing to anyone who does not know what you mean by "fundamentalist". I certainly do not know.

Indeed, any real success is God's just like any real knowledge is God's! He alone according to what Paul wrote gives any really increase to anyone! But... most everyone continues to open his mouth making absolute declarations about things they believe as if there was no doubt about them. What is...
