:( What hope is there except that we, being the body, begin to fully operate each according to the function God purposed for us to be.....let the hand be the hand....the foot...the leg....etc....the church leaders has allowed the members to dictate how the they (being the body) should be used...

Jesus is the begotten Son of God and He was the Word in the beginning, He was the Word who was with God in the beginning, He was the Word that was made flesh. Matthew Henry Commentary 1:1-5 The plainest reason why the Son of God is called the Word, seems to be, that as our words explain our...

It wasn't a presumption but rather a vision....and in January I truly believed the Holy Spirit was telling me to keep my eyes on Israel/Syria. I have not walked or operated in my calling for a very long time....I went through a very long time of being dead in my spirit after my husband died in...

Yes, ma'am I believe you are correct.

My 2 cents.....the spirit realm co-exist with the physical however it cannot operate in the physical without a vessel....we are filled with the Holy Spirit and in us and through us He manifests His Power.....demons seek a place to inhabit … “When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes...

AMEN!!!! I agree with this prayer and it is humility that God has been teaching me a lot of lately!

I am having a bit of difficulty with understanding the difference....and the different posts here seem to contradict what one is saying over another....or I am just plain stupid and can't see the trees through the forest! lol.

Exactly which is what I am trying to do....but in this case there are so many instances spoken of in scripture referring to the law that I was getting lost. I am thankful that some of you here have gained that revelation and are willing to share it with me. :D

These are some good points to think upon and search out....thanks for sharing!

oh and just to clarify @Dave L , I am not the teacher here...definitely the student...just bringing up what others have said as a counterpoint to your point....not sure who is right...maybe both.

Well from what other theologians have said is that they did exist but were "codified" in stone as a formal ceremony and as written by God's own finger on Mt. Sinai....I suppose it is a matter of interpretation? I agree with you that the 2 Great Commandments are eternal..

I agree....even Jesus taught from the historic scrolls.

I am....but I do not bear the marks of His crucifixion.

He said that there were no 10 commandments before Mt. Sinai....but there are several scriptures referencing God's commandments before that... God made a covenant with Abraham that if he and his descendants would keep His commandments, be perfect and circumcise their male children, God would...

I am totally ignorant about dispensationalists....doing a little research into it....ummmm I guess I might be one and didn't even know it. Well labels only serve to identify peoples differences of beliefs or opinions....that does not render my salvation and my faith in God and His Word as being...

True that! God had predestined him for His purpose! Even Paul....the zeal he had for persecuting Christians was the same zeal he had after his conversion for preaching the Gospel and this was what God had equipped him with. Just had to make a few changes in him on the road to Damascus!

My husband died in his sleep in 1999 and for me it took all the way until last year when I finally let go and quit grieving....so I truly do understand. God is very near you right now and will not leave you while you are grieving. Prayers....and a hug for you!.

Ohhhhh, I see well more studying to do I guess! As I stated in the OP I am just now seeing the difference in Moses Law and the 10 Commandments.....thanks for your input! I will research it more.:)

I disagree....this is copied from a source I am studying...it does not specifically say there were 10 of them but God does address the disobedience to His commandments and the sins of man in those days.....murder, covetousness, adultery etc....so much to the point of the flood which destroyed...
