I have come across many who blow their own trumpet while claiming God as their author. I am revolted!

Sooooo, what has happened to the whole Hebrew system which it appears God initiated (brought into operation) ie, the Law, the Prophets, the Psalms? People took the information and made a religion out of the formalities themselves, even distorted them and worshipped the formality rather than...

I haven't seen you post anything convincing theefaith, in spite of your constantly repetitive barking :)

The thing which differentiated John from all the other prophets is that his message was repentance for the forgiveness of sins. In the Hebrew economy, forgiveness of sins was only possible if they brought a lamb to the sanctuary and slaughtered it after confessing their sins over it. Confession...

The message of repentance was preached by all the prophets so that did not make John worthy of being called the greatest of the prophets....it was not exclusive to John but there was something specific about his message that made John the forerunner of Jesus. Do you want to have a stab as to...

What Are we Getting Saved From? Overconfident messengers who choose to keep their eyes closed to anything other than their narrative.

righty, I hear you, but what was the inherent factor in the message that he preached? ie, what did he say that made him stand out from other prophets.....so much so that Jesus called him the greatest born of women.....even though John said of himself, he wasn't worthy to tie the shoelaces of Jesus?

tell me why this is interesting to you Marilyn?

God is doing on our planet ie, amongst its inhabitants other than than what most assume......even other than what many who claim insight into this mystery shout from their soapboxes. Jesus' reference to be careful how one sees is pertinent. Luke 8:18 Mark 4:24

not so much funny as it is a look at a standard view from another angle.

cheer up marks; a little laugh at ourselves does the spirit good :)

Have Your Bottle of OIL {Holy Spirit, Faith, Repentance of Sins} With You Always = Matthew 25;1-4, 'be careful how you hear'....Jesus

another sidestep!

Phoneman, you won't even come clean on the simple question I've asked you......a question bouncing off your statement. Why would I want to ask something more complex?

you witness to yourself!

what I do hear loud and clear Phoneman is your willingness and your insistence on applying the principle and practice of distraction.
