Thanks Tommie, I covet your prayers, bless you. Thanks Rocky, you are a treasure xox. It seems that I have some form of degenerative thing going on in the fingers which I thought I was miles too young to have...and my wrist and thumb on the left hand [which is where the pain is centered] they...

I think Jeremiah 33 is about some kind of war that has or will happen. Possibly a prophetic revelation into the future destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD? Not quite sure but I've always wondered about this verse?

You seem to equate God's love for mankind with his requirement for us to live as new creatures in Christ. Romans 5:8. Christ died while we were still in our sins. The scriptures you have quoted are not consistent with his desire for us to obey his will. We are not trying to save ourselves, we...

...I don't agree with your statement. When we first got saved, we were forgiven of sin and washed with Christ's blood due to the fall because All men had sinned, even those who did not follow the law. We must now live according to Christ as new creations. Those who do not believe in OSAS do not...

The Pharisees and teachers of the law put heavy yokes upon the people in a works type "modus operandi" but they did not place such burdens upon themselves. Matt 23:4. The bible says that no-one is declared righteous in God's sight by observing of the law. Romans 3:20. The yoke in Jewish...

I think this verse is about those who try to keep the law through their own physical efforts and works, in contrast with those who have repented and follow him by faith as believers because of his redeeming work on the cross.

You guys have a few years tucked under your belts ~ however, it's good to know that people still question the status quo. PS; Didn't Christopher Columbus prove that the world was indeed spherical when he traveled around the world?

Are they mainline? or just newish as a Church body. We have United Churches here but they seem very traditional.

What's the point in leading a Church when you do not believe in God???

We'll see what the outcome will be for this lady. I can't believe a Minister of a Church, which is the body of Christ, can be an atheist?

You may find hundreds of faultfinders among professed Christians; but all their criticism will not lead one solitary soul to Christ. - D.L. Moody

Not called!' did you say? 'Not heard the call,' I think you should say. Put your ear down to the Bible, and hear Him bid you go and pull sinners out of the fire of sin. Put your ear down to the burdened, agonized heart of humanity, and listen to its pitiful wail for help. Go stand by the gates...

Thanks for your prayers....Bless you!
