@lforrest @Heart2Soul @Angelina @Jasper.Stones-144K needs some help here.

Lots of eating from that kind of fruit, hereabouts, it seems. Access to the other tree, the Tree of Life, was cut off, but did not Jesus reopen the Way? The problem methinks seem to be that people having attitudes similar to Adam and Eve as they considered the tree you mentioned and have decided...

Good to see you here and posting some old friend: Our own thinking will certainly get us into deep trouble at times. The good thing is that God recognizes the problems found in our thinking. We do need to have our minds become like the mind of Christ. "Neither pray I for these alone, but for...

@Marty fox And once more the purpose of the thread to minimize or prevent confusion among those already confused is cloudier than ever... Help us all dear Lord steering us clear of Babel!

@Dosia I won't try offer more advice here. I will simply keep you and your son's situation in particular in prayer!

@FluffyYellowDuck Fare thee well sister! May God richly bless you wherever you are walking with Him. The Internet is not all that there is!

@theefaith You post a lot of posts with tons of quoted scriptures. I wonder if there are many here like me who do not read them because it is simply too much to chew on? You are, I believe, defeating your own purpose by your volume. I only have so much time and my ability to retain the...

Praying that God give you peace as well as understanding of any message from Him in your dream!

I copied this from an old discussion on another forum long ago [2009] and far away which may help you some: Originally Posted by _____ If the church is the mother, then jesus is already married with children, or he is not married yet and having babies already. What do you think, is jesus...

"But I am the LORD thy God, that divided the sea, whose waves roared: The LORD of hosts is his name. And I have put my words in thy mouth, and I have covered thee in the shadow of mine hand, that I may plant the heavens, and lay the foundations of the earth, and say unto Zion, Thou art my...

Amen... types and shadows!

I was not talking about the verse as related to others, but rather as it relates to what @theefaith said here: As per the verse I quoted if one parent is an undefiled believer the child is sanctified by that parent in spite of the other parent being a defiled unbeliever. Therefore, it was...

God has never changed. So has God given those who have lived after Jesus sacrificed himself on the cross advantages over those people who lived during the times described in the OT? If so then in order to not be a respecter of persons, would not God require more those who have lived after the...

Nothing at all my friend but there are some conditions to be met in those verses: "If"... "seek"..."set your"...! Who is to be the judge as whether a condition has been met for us? You? Me? Our priest or rabbi or pastor? We may have an opinion or a belief... but who knows? “O LORD, thou...

Why do you post something like this without a translation or at least a definition of all the strange non-scriptural terms?

"For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy." I Cor 7:14

Without the Holy Spirit leading them, no one can have correct and clear understanding of what they read. That includes me. Each of us must walk with God as we believe that we are led by Him. "O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his...

Are you speaking of these two questions? I gave my answers in post #376 although it did not provide a simple, yes, or a simply, no! Why is that so important? What answer do you suppose is going to win the debate for anyone? For you benefit: My answer to question #1 which may not have been...

I see that @MatthewG has already answered with lexicon. I guess it is simply a difference in languages, the Greek and the Hebrew. It is effectively what the Samaritan woman said. In the OT we see where the prophet Samuel anointed first Saul and then later David as king of Israel. Do you know...
