Drinking Alcohol, should a Christian do it?

Just an example. You could almost call Judaism and Christianity a drinking religion. When a drinking culture tells you not to be drunk or be a drunkard, it means something different than what most people understand. Christ drank and drank with others. Drinking wine was part of a very important...

7 PAGAN FESTIVALS WE STILL CELEBRATE TODAY ~ under the guise of Christian celebrations and names.

The whole point of your posts is that you are better than other people. That make you much much lower in God's eyes.....But you can be a legend in your own mind.

Is Sunday sacredness in the Bible?

That is because you live in the Old Testament. Are ya going to sell your daughters as sex slaves? Is that your motivation? Human trafficking is a big thing now a days. You could start a religion of fathers that sell their daughters as sex slaves out in the church parking lot. The Sabbath would...

Is Sunday sacredness in the Bible?

The Truth can be shocking! No apologies! I am not the only one that calls it the Jewish Saturday Sabbath because that is what theologians call it. Maybe because only Jews were allowed in the Temple on the Sabbath. LOL Hatred of what? The Jews....Wrong again! I grew up with the Jews and have...

Why its important to keep the Sabbath

Tertullian 160-240 AD “[L]et him who contends that the Sabbath is still to be observed as a balm of salvation, and circumcision on the eighth day . . . teach us that, for the time past, righteous men kept the Sabbath or practiced circumcision, and were thus rendered ‘friends of God.’ For if...

Why its important to keep the Sabbath

How can you not know this... The Didache 1. But every Lord’s day do ye gather yourselves together, and break bread, and give thanksgiving after having confessed your transgressions, that your sacrifice may be pure. (Didache Chapter XIV.11 —Christian Assembly on the Lord’s Day. 14 [A.D. 70])...

7 PAGAN FESTIVALS WE STILL CELEBRATE TODAY ~ under the guise of Christian celebrations and names.

LOL For one it is kind of in the name....Christmas Two it is a day for celebrating His birth. The Pagan holiday that more less coincides with it does not have any similarities with Christmas.

Why its important to keep the Sabbath

How can you be so misinformed. There are quite a few early christian writings about the Lord's Day and Sunday....Have you not looked into this a little?

7 PAGAN FESTIVALS WE STILL CELEBRATE TODAY ~ under the guise of Christian celebrations and names.

Because Christians celebrate Christmas…friends and family. I would say the tree is an old custom but it really is not that old. Deck the halls with boughs of holly Fa-la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la 'Tis the season to be jolly Fa-la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la So we cannot blame this one on the Pagans…...

I know about Jews for Jesus. But they are not protestant. Great stuff but they have no historical lineage to the Jewish-Christians of the 1st century.

Is Sunday sacredness in the Bible?

Not from God? Neither is wedding ceremonies or a requirement thereof to be married. Neither is stopping polygamy or concubinage...did God want to continue that? Neither is stopping slavery....did God want to continue that? Soooo what is your point? The bottom line, God did not die at the end...

Why its important to keep the Sabbath

When you are dealing with history it is all about confidence levels. I am not sure what your concern with Justin’s manuscripts are but as far as confidence levels he was not contradicting anything that history or the other early writers where not confirming. Sunday was the Lord’s Day from the...

7 PAGAN FESTIVALS WE STILL CELEBRATE TODAY ~ under the guise of Christian celebrations and names.

Our origins are Gentile-Christians which mean Pagans that converted to Christianity. After the 1st century the Gentile-Christians took the helm of the Church and it has been that way ever since. The Protestants if they trace their heritage back they were Pagans that converted to Christianity….I...

Did God forsake Jesus on the cross?

”Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour. And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?“ Matthew 27:45-46 KJV Christ was not mistaking or lying. From...
