If we are not to look for signs then why did Jesus tell us to look for them?

Thanks for answering aspen's question....good job ByGrace!

Yes, prayers for all and that the seeds that are planted will take root and grow mighty in Him. AMEN!

Well, shame on you for your post as well.....we must pray for the success of our leaders.....what we pray for others we tend to bring on ourselves. We don't have to like them just pray for their success because it becomes our success as well. God Bless!

I guess I didn't see it.

I would love to be a part of your bible study. What I am most excited about is your hunger for more of Him and for more understanding of His Word....this is where it all started for me in 1983-84.....I was so hungry that I couldn't hardly put my bible down except to eat and sleep....I even took...

The Bible says He inhabits the praises of His people! So Praising Him and worshiping Him brings us into His presence for certain! AMEN!!! I praise Him continually!

Ahhh good post and good question.....I personally meditate on Him and enter His presence first through praise and worship. Once I am in His presence I just humble myself and listen as He speaks to me....But then there are times that I am driving down the road and I am mentally engaged in...

This prayer is not right before the eyes of God....there is no race that is supreme. Please repent Stranger, and research your heritage.....the white skin did not appear on the earth until around Noah's days.....we are all of one Creator, who created all of us in His image...and that we who are...

A very good prayer, Mayflower, I will be in agreement with you on this prayer. God Bless!

He did build up in encouraging those to humble themselves and to walk in love. That's how I perceive it.....but also God does give us correction and instruction and warnings to keep us from walking in ignorance so that we are not ensnared by the enemy and fall into that trap that he lays before us.

I don't go around testing God like that.....and neither should you or anyone else.

I really liked his music back then and even still and his preaching was good as well!

Don't be so easily shaken....they are weak and pathetic and have no power over God''s people. Share the truth and help this person understand.

Well that is good news...lol....that means we won't be fighting the battle of Armageddon against Satan and his demons....pfftt:p

Totally agree.....and when Michael the Archangel was confronted by a demon all he said was ….The Lord rebuke you and it left. Jude 1:9 Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The...

Well I know I won't lose my salvation but I also am humble to admit I still stumble and sin without intent. As far as your interpretation of these scriptures above and the one I quoted I will leave it to a humble acceptance of what you believe and what I believe. God Bless!

I have visited maybe 4 or 5 different Christian Forums and each one has a distinct spirit operating in it that is easily discerned. I love this forum the best because the people here are more mature in their spiritual walk and can understand the deeper things of God...and although tempers flare...

I wanted to share this with you....I cannot and will not deny God's supernatural gifts operating through His vessels today as I have had too many personal experiences in witnessing the power of God to heal and deliver, to speak to us, to empower us to do the works of Jesus. As a young believer...

Do you know this scripture? "For it is impossible, in the case of those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, and have shared in the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the age to come, and then have fallen away, to restore...
