    Is apostolic succession biblical?

So, is it the Biblical-prescribed hierarchy that you have a problem with - or just the Catholic Church's practice of a hierarchy? And, as for your comment n RED - are you prepared to prove that the Catholic church is "FILLED" will pedophiles - or that there was a problem with a very small...

There are no Catholics in Heaven.

Yes, we do - that's why I just told you that. I'm Catholic - or didn't you know that? The Catholic Church teaches that NOT only Catholics will make it to Heaven. This is a doctrinal position, known as Extra Ecclesiam Nulla Salus.

There are no Catholics in Heaven.

So, you don't believe that Jesus is God?

There are no Catholics in Heaven.

It's not about "earning" anything. It's about being obedient and doing His will (Matt. 7:21).

Because she believed what her Son taught - and promised (Matt. 16:18).

There are no Catholics in Heaven.

No - but she was fine with SOME of them. Have you ever actually read them? Not ALL of them are "anti-" Catholic Church. Some of them actually agree with Catholic teaching.
  7. BreadOfLife

There are no Catholics in Heaven.

I agree - so does the Church. Anti-Catholics don't understand this.

There are no Catholics in Heaven.

She WAS saved. She didn't save herself - otherwise SHE would be a god. She was saved BEFORE she was born.

There are no Catholics in Heaven.

You MUST be baptized with water to receive the Holy spirit (John 3:5, Acts 2:38). We are tangible creatures and God, in His infinite wisdom prescribes tangible means for us to be born again. Just as Christ used mud to cure the blind man - He prescribes physical means for us to live out our...

There are no Catholics in Heaven.

Actually - Luther was devoted to the Blessed Mother . . . "She is rightly called not only the mother of the man, but also the Mother of God ... It is certain that Mary is the Mother of the real and true God." "St. Paul says 'God sent his Son born of a woman, ' These words which I hold for true...

There are no Catholics in Heaven.

What'dya know? Another lie. Big surprise, coming from YOU . . . Soooooo, you couldn't refute the Scriptural Fortress that is the Catholic Mass? All you could do was to post another desperate attack - like a blind boxer throwing wasted punches into the air . . . My 92-year-old mother, who...

There are no Catholics in Heaven.

In other words - you have NO answer for why you guys build graven images to men like Calvin and Luther. That's pretty much what I thought. You make it SO easy to expose you . . .

There are no Catholics in Heaven.

That's why I prefaced my post with "'IF' you are a language teacher - this should interest you." Apparently, it didn't, because it doesn't seem that you take languages seriously. As I stated, Ignatius was was appointed to the Bishopric of Antioch by Apostle Peter, was a student of the Apostle...

There are no Catholics in Heaven.

If somebody "worships" a statue - they did NOT learn this from the Catholic Church. This is idolatry and is condemned by the Church - always HAS been. This is akin to ME telling YOU that "ALL" Protestants are meth-smoking homosexuals because Ted Haggard got caught doing those things. I am smart...

There are no Catholics in Heaven.

Well - if you ARE an language teacher - this should interest you . . . There are several 2nd century documents that use the term "Catholic Church". The first is from Ignatius of Antioch's Letter to the Smyrnaeans around the year 207 AD. He was Bishop of Antioch and was a student of the...

There are no Catholics in Heaven.

My parish priest told that joke during his homily a few months ago. Funny . . .
  17. BreadOfLife

There are no Catholics in Heaven.

What'a ya know - we agree. The Bible is clear - we are SAVED at Baptism (1 Pet. 3:21, John 3:5, Acts 2:38, Mark 16:16).
  18. BreadOfLife

There are no Catholics in Heaven.

And this is precisely the type of idiotic claim that makes your posts so entertaining to the educated. Allow me to educate you once more, son . . . Catholics have been reading and hearing Scripture since the beginning. The Liturgy of the Word, which is the first half of the Mass is lliterally...

There are no Catholics in Heaven.

Ummmmmm, I didn't start this anti-Catholic thread - and the many others like it. YOU did. I simply responded. By the way - isn't this "Reformation Wall" a violation of the Commandment against graven images?
