Salvation is not by Grace or by Works. Grace is a function of Salvation. Works of the Law gets you nowhere. In Christinaity Good Deeds are not considered Works. Good Deeds are the character and application of Christianity. And it is are our pleasure in our walk with Christ to love one another...

There is a lot to learn in this thread. It is the sort of thing that a student of theology would be pointed to on how not to understand the scriptures. 1. Mainly how not to come to certain conclusions. 2. That some times the answer is "that we do not know." Centuries old debates..... The main...

Oh so this is a word study…..OK…. The English term Jew originates from the Hebrew word Yehudi, meaning "from the Kingdom of Yehuda " It does not mean follower of Yahadut. It passed into Greek as Ioudaios and Latin as Iudaeus, which evolved into the Old French giu after the letter "d" was...

Well you cannot really blame him, the J slam warped a lot of what people understand of the ancient world. No J’s in the scriptures. Hebrew/Israelite/Jews are designations like Leonardo De Vinci is what we call him but its not like De Vinci was his last name. De means from…Leonardo from Vinci.

Stands to reason. The Muslim god is Satan and he hates anyone that loves God.

Awwww! So sad! You mean they did not burn it to the ground. Oh well maybe next time....we can only hope.

So then if you cannot find it....and you won't....You are back to....Why do you call me 'Lord, Lord,' and not do what I tell you? Everyone who comes to me and hears my words and does them, I will show you what he is like: he is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on...

Sometimes I think that there are people that would question if faith is required to get to Heaven. LOL It is probably easier to cut to the chase and ask; Is repentance and water baptism and the Bread and Wine Ritual required to get to Heaven? Then site the exact words that actually say that...

LOL I am a formally educated theologian. I fellowship with the Baptists, the Lutherans, the Pentecosts, the Catholics, the Glad Tidings Assembly of God, the Moravian Church and nearly a dozen non-denominational churches and I have had Mormon and Jewish friends from the time I was a kid. My...

It is the nature of the beast. Christians as a whole do not make good students because….LOL …do I need to make a list. They are not open to new ideas…. stubborn….and they have an attitude against education. In Galileo day the Church was defending the belief that the world was flat and the sun...

When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” John 8:12 Was Christ speaking the truth or boasting or being humble? What is the difference between humility and specking the truth?

Lets sort this out. The average Christian that is trying to dig a little deeper into the facts about Christianity and the Bible are at a disadvantage. When unknowingly they are looking at the Christian Greek instead of the Koiné Greek of the time period There is almost like a wall between...

Calvinism goes back to the 16th century. And I did read your post and you and I have talked before and unless something has changed you essentially believe in OSAS. And from the post that you got my soup sandwich response, it still sounds like OSAS, As far as both sides of the debate....if...

OSAS is part of the New Age Movement. OSAS is not a belief that Christ or the Apostles taught, it is not what the history of Christianity taught.....You do not see it in Christian history until relatively recently. As part of Calvinism it is just part of a false religion, the man was nutz.

Salvation is simple and secure. It is all about honesty and intent. But making up your own rules and doing anything you want is going to get you to Hell. A person that believes in Christ has to work their way to Hell and it seems you know the way. OSAS is a ticket to Hell.

Make it right....other than returning the items and turning yourself in.....can you make it right? If your not going to do that, then give it to charity.....Good Will store? And hoping you are not friendless......Go to church with a friend.

Your beliefs seem to be focused on selected scriptures. And it is not just this thread but other threads and posts.

Encouraging verses are great but if you want to understand Christianity you might consider the rest of the Bible. Cherry picking scriptures to focus on cannot produce an accurate understanding of Christianity. Christianity is not about what you like or do not like, it is about the Truth. And...

Ahhh! I just find you funny.
