But then what was it that Jesus said? "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them." Matt 18:20 Is this not to be seen in the gathering of hearts through the Holy Spirit even if the bodies must remain at a distance?

So stop then! The choices still remain for you ultimately as Jesus called it: "No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon." Matt 6:24 Don't like those choices? Try to...

Having them in us is not meaningful if we do not also obey them. How does a person do that? As we yield ourselves to the Holy Spirit within us, the Holy Spirit will guide and strengthen the new man of us to kill the old man of us. This is why Apostle Paul admonishes us: "Quench not the...

Should we memorize them or allow them to be written in our hearts by God?

During the 1990's while still working full time I was trading postage stamps for my collection by snail mail with dozens of people world-wide. Lots of them were in Spanish speaking countries in Latin America as well as in Spain. All of those letters were of course in Spanish. That was happening...

Fancy perhaps but also simply the German word for it. Remember that I was a student in Germany studying the language. I use the language these days only to read die Bibel [the Bible] or Die Heiligeschrift [the Holy Writings or Scriptures]. I had one close German friend I talked a little German...

What I remember from a little German history that the black was commonly a mainstay for the lower class people. It was cheap. I tried it just once. It was to me nasty stuff. I guess I was just another spoiled American. I preferred their dark beer, Bratwurst and Kartoffelsalat.

I like the German bread... except for the black bread!

I also have always hated sauerkraut. The picture post unfortunately shows sauerkraut on top. I would never purposely eat sauerkraut. The Bratwurst is the sausage itself. They have a very distinctive flavor and are very even with American mustards. My wife spoils me with good food and my job...

The Rise Up Society sounds like a good thing. There many good things in our society, but they don't often make headlines!

Praying for you and your family in difficult times! Our God is always able!

Everyone has an opinion... but then consider again the words penned here by Jeremiah: "O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps" Jerem 10:23 And then Jesus speaks of the blind leaders. Do we have any today? "Let them alone: they...

"He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end." Ecc 3:11 "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens...

Even so as per... "And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul." Gen 2:7 Life was indeed given to man and a warning was also given: "But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat...

Was it not God who gave my wife a gift when it comes to preparing a good meal?

Even so... "Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone. Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and...
