:D :D Yes it is amazing how we just believe anything people tell us when we are young Christians. In my 54 years as a Christian I have probably had to un-learn almost as much as I "thought" I had learned. LOL Our dad got us thinking and not just believing everything we were told. At...

As we can have snow 5 months of the year ...no brainer. You don't have to shovel rain. :) Earth of Sky ?

Your post was much better than mine. :)

Another one that someone told you. There is no biblical verse for that. Some use " Why have You forsaken me.." but it was not because God had to look away of forsook Him... Jesus came as man..He died as a man for us ...He was our only hope of salvation ...man sinned in the Garden and...

Come on dear friend...where have you been? o_O It was written earlier on , on this very SITE...when all this SDA started getting braver and coming out of the woodwork after THBE joined here...and their doctrines started getting pushed and flooding the site. You have obviously not been reading...

Hmmm are you sure Rolly ? ? ? But they are trying to "save us all" by warning us that if we hold to Sunday as "The Lords Sabbath" then we are taking the mark of the beast and will end up in hell. I don't hold with either, I believe in and hold that CHRIST is our Sabbath...24/7 but they only...

Hey Rita. I think if she ever had done that...she would meet with some "accident" or die of some "stomach flu". She probably remembers what happened the last time a Monarch did that..He had his head lifted from his body by an axe at the Tower of London. 1649 And no Monarch has tried it...

Oh I LOVED that . :D :D Ain't that the truth. LOL No such luck though eh... I guess we just have to trust God that He is allowing the countries and their governments to destroy themselves ...so that He can call TIME NO LONGER and usher in HIS Kingdom.. As Amadeus says "Give God The...

Stars Flowers or Trees?

A good word for the 'days' that we live in!! 2 Chron 20:12 "for we have no might against this great company that cometh against us; neither know we what to do: but our eyes are upon Thee."

Excellent post. I like that a lot. :)

Oh Frank I am so sorry to hear this...WOW!! Unbelievable...yet in this 'day and age' anything now is believable. :rolleyes: Is marijuana legal there? I hear the Vets and cancer patients are getting much help through marijuana here. It has just been legalized. I am SURE it is being abused...

.....new = Picture Frame.

Hi there :) Yes we have His Spirit. But I can't quote agree with your statement above in blue. ? Don't you ever find in your walk with God a dryness tries to settle over us..and we 'feel' disconnected and dry as a bone spiritually? You may not, but my walk seem to go through spiritual...

I think @bbyrd009 made a good point when he reminded us of 2 Tim 1:6 " Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands." Much like in OT when it says " David encouraged himself in the Lord." "the soul of all the people was...

Prov 15:15 "All the days of the afflicted are evil, but he that is of a merry heart hath a continual feast."

Terms? = I know a lovely godly lady who has the gift /anointing or whatever the term is..of healing legs. Broken ankles, broken legs , and anything majorly wrong with legs. So she doesn't lay hands on people and see them healed or anything else..but where legs are concerned "she has it"...

Now that actually would be a great thing to do on this thread...I just 'took it' that @Triumph1300 had a thread for scriptures...but for us to just a thought that someone else blessed us with in reading their post...would be a great encouragement too. ( whispering quietly...) The only trouble...

Oh come on Stranger :rolleyes: Who spat in your oatmeal this morning ? You are just arguing for arguing sake. It doesn't matter a fig who Hidden In Him tells us that he is...even if he told us he was The Pied Piper...unless the people feel a witness to things that he shares, (and has...
