Or the idea of trying to tell people whether or not to receive a medical treatment [such as a Covid-19 shot?] in order to stay on God's side!

@My Dreams Prayer continues... Indeed our physical lifetime can seem at times to be and almost unending forever. Consider Stephen the young man who in his allotted time never had a wife or children or any of the material things men want to call "good". Before he was ever able to enjoy any of...

This is what Jesus says: "Master, which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy...

What do you mean by "Myra"?

@Christophany "None good one"! Most certainly, but then what becomes all of those designated by men as being good men? Sometimes the problem is described by what Isaiah wrote here: "Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that...

Ex 20:1 And God spake all these words, saying, Ex 20:2 I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Ex 20:3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me. Ex 20:4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing...

Follow the lead of the Holy Spirit in every real case. Do not try to find black and white rules, even according to the Bible as you read or understand it, that will always apply. In most cases abortion, I believe, will be wrong and the Holy Spirit, I believe, will lead us that way... but there...

You may be correct. I have not gotten into that much. Mostly I know only what I have read on forums like this one.

@Heart2Soul @BarnyFife The following copied from my 1988 edition of KJV Thompson Chain Reference Bible simplifies the growth of the English Bible:

Keep your faith in God even in the worst of times... Can you handle it? "And said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD. In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly." Job...

Praying for you in this now!

Living by faith...! "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen" Heb 11:1

What do I know about Republicans and Democrats? What do I know about men who I have not met? What do I know even about those who I have met? Can I trust any man carrying the label, Republican? How about the label of a Democrat? How about the label of a Christian? Does the label alone describe...

Might not a better question be as to whether or not I am growing? Is He increasing in me as I am decreasing in myself? "And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man." Luke 2:52 "He must increase, but I must decrease." John 3:30 As to comparing my oneness to His...

Would you blame only those millionaires and the wanna-be's for the short comings of Americans? "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" Rom 3:23

Thank you my friend! When we are 'good' it has to because in that moment of goodness, God, the One who is good, is manifesting Himself through us. When we manifest something Not good, it would be because, as I believe it, we have quenched the Spirit of God!

"And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are." John 17:11 How is it that we may be one as Jesus and the Father are One? No, I am not. Should I be? If...

Not precisely my own definition, but the way you expressed it, I believe, has great merit. Who will admit that his own earthly power is being erroneously applied? Many supposed believers forget or never knew the wisdom God gave to Solomon: "Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and...

Even though I may at times be in a different place than you on some things, I really do appreciate your Spirit!

Very good my friend! I grew up washing with my older brother the dishes in my mother's house. No automatic dishwashers in those days and no sisters to be given or even to share in the task. We took turns with the washing and drying but it was all on us. No dirty dishes were allowed to stay. No...
