The LORD is a warrior. Exodus 15:3 And Jesus is returning as a warrior. Our example. Stop forgetting the rest of the story or the whole story.

Thank God for the Crusades for that is not all they did! They stopped the Conquest of Christianity! If not for the Crusades, we’d be Muslim today.

Your commitment to injustice is disgusting, a sign of the unmanly, soul-less, feminized church in understandable decline. You've learned nothing from Christ in feeding the poor, giving water to the thirsty, clothing the naked or the lesson of the Good Samaritan. All are image bearers of God...

Your analysis stops short. IF what you say is true, there would be no new earth and new heaven in our future. This new Earth is most certainly an improvement. And our Lord commanded us to accept that the Kingdom of God is within us. Do you suppose Ps 37:28 is not for us to emulate? That God...

It's more than that! It's condemning believers going to the outside world looking for justice - even regarding disputes within the church. Christians have abdicated being a source of justice in the world. It started in Biblical times and has accelerated since WWII.

You are confusing an emotional state that motivates justice with seeking revenge. Christ was as mad as hell and did not take it any more when he whipped people at the market and turned over tables. I think he worked the righteousness of God.

Christ gave us many mandates but not collectively - but as individuals. Why does the Bible say to work as though you are working for Christ? Colossians 3:22-24 Working diligently makes the world a better place.

No. The Bible says WE ARE TO MAKE the world be a better place. This is the meaning of the command for us to be salt and light.

Where does this outsourcing of justice to secular atheists mentality come from? It does not come from Scripture. Pastor Steve Cioccolanti's sermon last week reminded me of these golden nuggets. 1 Corinthians 6:3-4 3 Do you not know that we are to judge angels? How much more, then, matters...

AMEN!

As usual, we see things the EXACT OPPOSITE. It is my intention to get people upset. "i'm as mad as hell and i'm not gonna take it anymore" is a classic.

It goes to show the challenge of living the Christian life. I practice Christianity - except for MONEY. I practice Christianity - except for SEX. I practice Christianity - except for RELATIONSHIPS WITH MEMBERS OF OPPOSITE SEX. I practice Christianity - except for HOW I WORK. I practice...

No way! Christians that become obstacles to making the world a better place disgust me.

Where do you get this from? You know I'm concerned about your apparent struggle with your relationship with God and his children. This OP is more of the same. Did you read my thread asking if I should leave my church?

No but I did find the woman who made the video.

This poster shows how anti-Christian feminism is, advocating self-glorification and self-reliance and is based on fear not faith. I posted a meme. Not sure if it was in this thread that explains feminism holds that working for ones husband and family is oppression but working for a company and...

I know you won't reply and that's OK. The obvious pivot point is reality v "what we consider ourselves." Judgement Day is not a day we consider ourselves but are considered by another. And honestly, it always bothered me that some are raised only to be judged/sentenced, thrown in the Lake of...

My wife surprised me tonight with a broccoli battered pizza. Very good.

Thank you. It is unanimous that I should leave. I left that congregation but my faith in Jesus is not impacted. PTL. Although you have many posts, I do not recall ever seeing your posts before today. Welcome back.
