Amen! When Jesus said, "the Father is greater than I," He was speaking from his humanity. During the incarnation, Jesus was temporarily made lower than the angels. (Hebrews 2:9) Yet speaking from His Divinity, Jesus said, "I and the Father are ONE." (John 10:30) In John 10:33, the Jews clearly...

These many people in Matthew 7:22 were not genuine "believers." Instead, Jesus clearly stated that He never knew them which means they were never saved. So Matthew 7:22-23 is not about born again "believers" in Christ being turned away at the judgment for being commandment-breakers. Only Jesus...

Typical SDA response. Your argument does not line up with (John 3:18; 1 John 2:3-4; 3:9-10)

I ignored nothing and like I said, works-salvationists typically get this wrong. Be sure not to ignore the context. (Matthew 7:15-23)

1 John 2:19 - They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us; but they went out that they might be made manifest, that none of them were of us.

Not according to Scripture. 2 Corinthians 1:22 - who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee. 2 Corinthians 5:5 - Now He who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who also has given us the Spirit as a guarantee. Ephesians 1:13 - In Him you also trusted...

Great attitude. Put me on ignore as well.

Proverbs 8:36 - but he who fails to find me injures himself; all who hate me love death.

Amen to that!

Submission to Christ doesn't mean be a coward and never defend yourself or others. Win souls and pray for those who persecute you, yes.

Reminds me of the passage in Isaiah 5:20 - Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

We know it's coming and I would rather die on my feet than live on my knees!

We disagree and you ignored the rest of my post.

Amen brother! :) Christ saves us through faith based on the merits of His finished work of redemption "alone" and not based on the merits of our works. It is through faith (rightly understood) "in Christ alone" (and not based on the merits of our works) that we are justified based on Christ...

Grace is the unmerited favor of God in which God shows us mercy, kindness, and patience instead of the judgment that we deserve for sinning against Him. God's grace cannot be earned by our actions. Grace is based on the character of God and not on our sincerity, performance, or best efforts to...

USCCA is correct that gun control does not apply to criminals. They are not law abiding citizens. It's not nonsense. We are to love our neighbor as ourself, yet what if our neighbor sets out to rob, rape or kill a family member? We are to sit back, watch it happen and do nothing? There is quite...
