Praying for Sharon's situation!

During all my years as a Catholic, the only Catholics I met who had read any scripture for sure were priests.

Already there is a famine in the land, but God is still providing for anyone who is hungering and thirsting for His righteousness. While people have time and are hungry will He ever renig on that promise? "Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a...

Praying with you my friend!

@Ziggy Joining in prayer here!

Look at available information. She joined the forum as per profile 2-4-2011. That is a bit less than 10½ years. Stick around a while and you may attain to that as well...

"But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him." Heb 11:6 "I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work." John 6:4 It is still...

"It is hard to live for God easy, but easy to live for God hard." The brother who won me to the Lord very many years ago told me that and I have never forgotten it. The hard ways that people find themselves walking are due primarily to trying to ride the fence between God's Way and the ways...

Praying for you in this!

"Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican. The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican. I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all...

What is hard for God? "For whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and walk?' Matt 9:5

Is it revealed to every true believer in God? I think not! I do believe in God and His Son, Jesus, but I am not a trinitarian!

What is the 'easy' road to God? "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." Matt11:28-30

Welcome to the forum!

Some may call it devil or demon, and others may identify it as the left hand of God or the "old man of me" or "my carnal ways"... but it is certainly still an enemy that needs to be overcome if we are still tempted and if we ever still yield to temptation and sin. Jesus was an overcomer and we...

If then the devils believe on God are they also then in the congregation of the saved? "Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble." James 2:19 The works we do come from the Spirit of Christ when the Spirit is in us AND we are Not quenching the...

Amen! Walk out on the water toward Jesus keeping your eyes always on Him: "And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink,..."Matt 14:29-30

"Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life. But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal." Rom 11:3-4 "But ye shall receive power...

Amen! "Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the...

Or simply skip over most of it randomly? Will a random selection result in a worst or a better result? LOL... but it is not really funny at all!
