Amen aspen! Great observation! I think so too... :) Jesus prays to the Father John 17 13 “I am coming to you now, but I say these things while I am still in the world, so that they may have the full measure of my joy within them. 14 I have given them your word and the world has hated them, for...

What Do Non-Christians Really Think of Us? By Thom S. Rainer , Christian Post Contributor June 15, 2013|1:06 pm When my son was just 6, the boys down the street told him he was not allowed to play with them because he wasn't a Christian. I went down to see what was going on (because my 4-yr-old...

For the purpose of a being a living testimony. More people believe a family member, a friend or a neighbor through personal testimony. than they do reading the bible or trying grasp the concept of the salvation message. We are living testimonies for Christ and powerful witnesses of the crosses...

"The world exercises dominion. The Christian serves, and thus he shares the earthly lot of his Lord, who became a servant. … God…has so ordered life that the world exercises dominion by force and Christ and Christians conquer by service." Detrich Bonhoeffer

I think that the "mustard seed" analogy actually relates to faith rather than the growth of a Church but that's cool! ;) Coming from a salvation orientated Church, our focus was more on Kingdom growth rather than Church growth as we saw ourselves more of an outreach and we had no worries about...
