How do you hear the "still, small, voice"?

You can harden your heart, and not hear from heaven at all! Many cases in scripture of the hardened heart!

How do you hear the "still, small, voice"?

There are two trumpets! The Word and the Spirit! It is nice to attend service where you can feel the presence of the Holy Spirit along with the ministry of the Word.

How do you hear the "still, small, voice"?

Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. - Revelation 3:20 Behold Christ Jesus stands at the hearts door and knocks! If you let him in he and the good Holy Spirit will commune with you! And...

How do you hear the "still, small, voice"?

12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. 13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. 14 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the...

How do you hear the "still, small, voice"?

The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches. - Revelation 1:20 I believe the congregations of Christianity are...

How do you hear the "still, small, voice"?

Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? - Luke 18:8 I already have. The signs and gifts are for those who believe. As you believe not, they are not for you! That does not make this true for everyone. If you think the mission on earth is to annoy everyone with...

How do you hear the "still, small, voice"?

You sir come across as arrogant, cold, and as your knowledge is not accompanied with a pleasant spirituality no one wants to be like you.

How do you hear the "still, small, voice"?

Christs last words on earth... 15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. 17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they...

Did people receive the Holy Spirit and speak in tongues? Or did they speak in tongues ....?

The fruit of the mind that kills spirituality is no good.... Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life. - 2 Corinthians 2:8

How do you hear the "still, small, voice"?

Some people have so much ego, like the rich young ruler, that God cannot get a spiritual blessing in there edgewise, as the camel is much too big to go through the eye of the needle, so the ego inhibits the blessing from getting through, much like the clouds inhibiting the sunlight on an...

No need of Calvin, OSAS, Arminius, Spurgeon, Luther, and Boice

What distinguished the Methodist of the 1800's and the Pentecostal Holiness of the 1900's was an experience called sanctification. You are saved by acknowledging and inviting Christ Jesus into the heart... But they would have you attend the many revivals and spend time around the altar in prayer...

How do you hear the "still, small, voice"?

If a man is not right spiritually the word of a God will not bless mentally. And there is a danger of recreating old dead religious orders, such as we had in the Pharisees.

How do you hear the "still, small, voice"?

It has been said that the devil and the flesh are so akin that it is hard to discern the two. If the voices are not of God than it can be of the flesh. The Holy Spirit, though, blesses through the heart. And through the Spirit things are revealed to the mind.

I worry that you are concluding that the Holy Spirit is flesh.

How do you hear the "still, small, voice"?

If so... The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. -Galatians 5:22-23 Some people have the strangest love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, etc. I would say some people...

How do you hear the "still, small, voice"?

With many folk... I wonder... Along with the Apostle Paul.... 1 And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples, 2 He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they...

How do you hear the "still, small, voice"?

And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. - 1 Corinthians 2:4-5
