The 1st century way to be saved via water and Spirit baptism

Amen! These works-salvationists would walk around mountains of grace in order to find water. Christ’s finished work of redemption is sufficient and complete to save believers. No supplements needed. (Romans 3:24-28)

You still just don’t get it and probably never will.

    SDA

I was once in a discussion with SDA who made this statement below which has confirmed to me that SDA’s teach “salvation by grace plus law, faith plus works.” (Galatians 1:6-9) The counterfeit Gospel is out there. What is the other Gospel? It is a Gospel that tries to separate God's Law (10...

    SDA

There are two sides to that story. Did Adventist leaders lie to Walter Martin After hearing numerous testimonies from former Adventists and having numerous discussions with SDA’s over the years on various Christian forum sites, I have reached the conclusion that the SDA church is a cult...

Christians and Jews are both anti Acts 2:38.

Chuckle indeed! Those who isolate pet verses like Acts 2:38 and hastily build their biased church doctrine on it while ignoring such verses as (Acts 3:19; 10:43-47; 11:17,18; 13:39; 15:8,9; 16:31; 26:18 etc..) and failing to properly harmonize scripture with scripture before reaching their...

Oneness Pentecostalism analyzed from a Biblical perspective. Oneness Pentecostal Must baptism be "in Jesus' name"? Is speaking in tongues a necessary sign of salvation?

The 1st century way to be saved via water and Spirit baptism

Believers are adopted “sons” but we are not the only begotten/unique/one of a kind “Son” of God/God in the flesh. (John 1:1-14; Colossians 2:9)

The 1st century way to be saved via water and Spirit baptism

It’s all explained in the article. Did you even bother to read it? Jesus Christ is the only begotten/unique/one of a kind Son of God. Jesus is God in essence/nature. Oneness Pentecostals reject the Trinitarian formula because they reject the Trinity. Do you also reject the Trinity? To baptize in...

The 1st century way to be saved via water and Spirit baptism

I’m sure you are disappointment as you obviously feed on contention. Do you have a problem with the words of Jesus in Matthew 28:19? Do you believe that Romans 6:3-5 some how negates Matthew 28:19? Greek scholar AT Robertson provides a good commentary on Romans 6:3-5. Romans 6 - Robertson's...

The 1st century way to be saved via water and Spirit baptism

If the information from the article that I shared with you went right over your head, then you are thoroughly indoctrinated and unteachable. I will now leave you to your childish games and your folly. You are not fooling anyone except the already fooled.

    all righteousness is from Christ

Philippians 3:9 - and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith. nuff said

The 1st century way to be saved via water and Spirit baptism

The only logical conclusion when properly harmonizing scripture with scripture is that faith in Jesus Christ implied in genuine repentance (rather than water baptism) brings the remission of sins and the gift of the Holy Spirit. (Luke 24:47; Acts 2:38; 3:19; 5:31; 10:43-47; 11:17,18; 15:8,9...

In harmony with (Acts 3:19; 10:43-47; 11:17,18) yes he would. But Peter would not agree with false religions and cults.

The 1st century way to be saved via water and Spirit baptism

Trusting in plain ordinary H2O to save you over trusting in Jesus Christ alone to save you is trusting in a water god. You need to trust exclusively in the Savior God to save you through faith in Him. Faith in H20 does not save. You remain deceived.
