    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

We are all evil....we are all forgiven. God has done for us what we could not do for ourselves.....this is the Gospel. Why be tight fisted with God's generosity he has lavished on you? Did he not forgive both debtors?

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

oh dear, oh dear, oh dear.....meeting up with people and having communion with them whenever does not constitute a reason to forget The 7th day and your highlighted words only adds to the foolishness of your argument

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

We can assemble yourselves any time in any way we want, which incidentally the 4th commandment has nothing to say about. It does however make it unshakeably clear that we are to remember the 7th day ....and it gives the reasons. If you don't like them or the day for that matter you need to take...

as I said Enoch, you can do any gymnastics you like and none of them will change one jot or title of God's finger written ten.

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

You have a lively imagination, however, it is out of line with any intention of mine.....but while you're at it you might like to answer my question re your profile information being incongruent. In Australia we call it lying.....kind of an odd thing for someone who considers reverence for the...

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

you can do backflips and front flips, you can turn yourself inside out and change your gender but you will never erase the Commandment which says:- 'Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a sabbath to the Lord your God...

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

What! ....do you really find it objectionable that Eve is not the mother of Adam? ....All right, call her Adams mother if you like......maybe its like naming Panama City as being in Canada?

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

The fourth commandment tells us in Exodus 20:8-11 We are to remember it as a memorial to God being the Creator. It asks us to Remember. It is not a prohibition and there is nothing ceremonial about it.

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

It's unfortunate that you've come to this conclusion. I think you are upset because I dare to challenge your pet view that having law can make you righteous. Your insistence that I am opposed to law is unfounded and I assure you I am not mocking. Your piety is undermined by your hurry to...

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

Good luck for those who think they can live righteously by having the Law.....How is it going in your own life?....and look within your own circles of those who make great claims re the Law.....how are they going.......has it changed the inward man?

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

The question my posts address is 'is the law forever'. I'm not opposed to the law.....I think in our state of natural anarchy the law is a moderating factor.....I just do not think these will be necessary in a perfect eternity where sin will no longer raise its head. I do not thinks sin will...

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

when Adam came from the creators hand God declared his creation very good, ie perfect. If man is perfect, all his thoughts, emotions inclinations are perfect. Why give rules to prohibit what never entered his mind? Only after problems arise are rules formulated.....and yes you are right...

    The 10 Commandments are FOREVER

yeah, one can shoehorn the logic in an attempt to make it fit however I think its drawing a long bow. It leads itself more to eisegesis than to exegesis.
