All you have shown is that there is more than one gift of tongues from God! I believe that @CharismaticLady already knew that!

Amen sister! Something lacking too often around here!

Believe me sister, I have not personally done it. But if God asks us to do this and we know it is Him asking, what then...? Ask Him for help to accomplish His will for us! In that situation He will not refuse to help! "And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with...

What is 'reasonably decent'? What is it that Paul wrote here? "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service" Rom 12:1 If we never quench the Holy Spirit of God in us, will...

Amen! Jesus provided an example when He asked to have that cup removed here: "And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt" Matt 26:39 Not the same? Of course it...

9 of 12 listed here: "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law." Gal 5:22-23 Others are located in Eph. 4:2, Phil. 1:11, II Cor 6:6, II Peter 1:5. Col 3:23. Rom 5:3... with some repetitions...

I would say enough discussion and into the prayer asked for in the OP! This is a prayer thread, so pray and leave the discussions for other places! @Heart2Soul @Angelina

Praying for God to help this pastor accomplish the work that needs to be done including His will for the bike engine!

Communication is often men's problem, but God has no such problem. For this reason if we are always on His side alone, who can stand against us? But consider the difference between Corrie Ten Boom and her sister Betsy, when the two of them were hiding Jews from the Nazis! Eventually Corrie...

Aye! Again when we read of the beginnings of Saul and of David as kings of Israel, both anointed by the prophet Samuel, both failing God at times greatly, but then the one is finally rejected by the God and the other is called the apple of His eye and a man after God's own heart! What is the...

His commandments are not burdensome when we really love Him. Those who truly believe that he is the Son of God will strive toward and by the power of the Holy Spirit to overcome . Of course an underlying question in some may be, Who really loves God so much and who really has been born again...

Yes, but some may say, when you presume to describe the second death in a some outside of traditional... that you are way off. I do not say that. I really doubt that their traditions are correct! I certainly do not know all of the explanations. I have a little here and a little there from God...

Praying for them now!

I have had no trouble getting on or off this forum today!

I agree! "So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another." Rom 12:5 "For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether...

Still no word that I know about. The forum record still shows his last post or action here on 5-31. Hopefully he just got tired and will still return soon. Keep on praying for him!

@Philip James Hello Philip, I copied a Cambridge Dictionary definition of your OP title [The communion of saints] here: "all the people who are part of the Church" Would you agree with that? How does it relate to the actual 1st post of your thread?

Your verses of scripture are fine, but what you have not said is what you believe to be the identity of the "church of the apostles". Do you believe that anyone who has made a different identification of that "church" has any hope on their present road toward God? Do you believe that anyone...

Spiritual anarchy as I believe you mean it may exist indeed, but should we presume that everyone who is not where we are is an anarchist? Until we are living for God by absolute knowledge rather than by faith, how can we know how right or wrong the other guy is? By "faith" I mean it hopefully...

divine means uncreated and eternal Does it? That may be one valid definition, but is it the only one? Before asking others about divinity, would it not have been be a good idea to clarify your meaning? So then you have clarified your beliefs, but have you proven anything to anyone who did...
