I hate women in the locker room. I hate women explaining men's sporting games. But mostly I hate

Why can't men have their safe spaces? Women don't play men sports. Kind of odd.

    That explains this graph, huh?

    A Question for Jehovah's Witnesses

The context of John 1:1 totally demands the indefinite form. How can something be WITH something and BE that same thing? It cannot - unless figurative language is used. "With" X and "is" X are not the same thing. Prepositions are not verbs. "With" is a preposition. "IS" is a verb. Example...

    A Question for Jehovah's Witnesses

Nope. I asked a simple yes or no question. Your answer implies no. Implying no is not the same thing as explicitly saying no, is it?

    A Question for Jehovah's Witnesses

You do like to change the subject and not answer questions. I've asked several times referring to John 1:1, if you see no significance in the inconsistent use of "ho" before the word "theos? You can't seem to give a straight answer. I don't think John 3:2 is comparable. This is because 1. John...

    A Question for Jehovah's Witnesses

Again. Do you see no significance in the inconsistent use of "ho" before the word "theos?

I hate women in the locker room. I hate women explaining men's sporting games. But mostly I hate

In the 1970’s the Supreme Court ruled female journalists can enter men’s locker rooms so as not to be at a competitive disadvantage to men who get the big scoop before the athlete even gets dressed.

It's a statue in Brookstone Gardens in Myrtyle Beach. It is entitled, "Man Forging His Own Destiny." It depicts a man literally chiseling himself out of the marble. What you see as back scratching is actually the top of a swing of the mallet on the chisel near his ankle, still stuck in the rock.

I hate women in the locker room. I hate women explaining men's sporting games. But mostly I hate

Don't know where this thread is heading but "man-splaining" is part of the man-hating culture we've become. Say to a woman to stop women-splaining. See how respectfully she reacts to this variant of SHUT UP. It's just a hateful way of saying you do not have a right to talk based on your gender...

    A Question for Jehovah's Witnesses

To double down on this, there is nothing suggesting believing this is the central message of the Bible. Why believing this is so important cannot be found in Scripture.

    A Question for Jehovah's Witnesses

That primarily because he is not. Jesus is a person. Words are not people. John 1:1 does not even invoke Jesus. It took me a long time to grasp why trinitarians even make this assertion. And the proof text is 20:31 where John is kind enough to state his purpose in writing his Gospel. Wouldn’t...

    A Question for Jehovah's Witnesses

Not sure what significance you put on this word. 3 other men in Scripture were worshipped Nebuchanazeer, Daniel and David. Doesn’t mean they were God.

    A Question for Jehovah's Witnesses

Not really an answer to my question. Just another diversion. According to Bible up the first word translated “God” is Theou. Not Theos. Not sure if that is correct but does seem like not the same as John 1:1.

    A Question for Jehovah's Witnesses

While delving into this may be enlightening for some, it is a bit of a diversion. Sticking to John 1:1, do you see no significance in the inconsistent use of "ho" before the word "theos?" What are the possible explanations for this inconsistency in John 1:1?

Are Mormons Christians? (Latter Day Saints)

I was just responding to Jack in kind. Every experience I've had with Mormons have been positive. Regarding their doctrines, I'm sure your search engine is as good as mine. While Christendom embraces 2 books, the OT & NT, everyone knows Mormons embrace a 3rd book found in the original language...

    A Question for Jehovah's Witnesses

No. I'm saying you are not comprehending what Scripture is saying. Jesus, quoting God does not make Jesus God. It would help you understand if you actually used God's name, YHWH. 16Come near to me and hear this: ‘From the beginning I have not spoken in secret; from the time that it came to be...

Mormons believe they EXACT same as you; that their beliefs are right and yours are wrong.

Are Mormons Christians? (Latter Day Saints)

I think you should stay in your lane and work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. Mormons say they are Christian. That's good enough for me.
