Do you not tire at times at striving to live for God and coming onto a forum like this where you know when someone recognizes your formal Catholicism you are going to put down for that alone? Don't they know what it means to be a brother in Christ? Thanks for always having kind words on here...

Famine in the land... So few want to eat of the flesh and drink of the blood of Jesus but of the quail they are rushing to partake. The Holy Spirit of God is working where not being quenched, but a whole lot of quenching going on... Help us dear Lord. If this is a better Christian forum...

No the vaccine is the not the beast although for some people who see it as evil they cannot take it. For others who see no evil, they certainly may take it. Not everyone who believes God has the same vision at the same time. God alone sees every corner of every heart and mind. Believers should...

Because if they once did receive the Holy Spirit they have learned how to quench the Spirit and have made a habit of it over the years!

Amen! They speak words and even sometimes read the scriptures but without the Spirit of God, so that even those quoted words of the scripture are dead! Famine indeed! "[God] Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth...

"But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die." Gen 2:17 "And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she...

Men themselves are the beasts! We are nothing but beasts in the eyes of God until something good has been born within us. John the Baptist speaks of the same process of eliminating the beastly parts of and replacing them with something good: "He must increase, but I must decrease." John 3:30...

"I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they themselves are beasts. For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth, so dieth the other; yea, they have...

What I remember about celery from somewhere is that it is primarily cellulose not really rich in anything good for or digestible by or people as it would be for animals like cattle that eat grass. It does not hurt us but for the most part passes right through leaving us as waste. People, myself...

I would say it's a glitch in the system, but you can post prayer requests in any case once you are on the prayer forum.

Somewhere I have the precise date, but this takes you to very close to the end of his allotted time here... Willie T is in ICU

Amen! Man has always had a problem with elevating himself too much instead of God!

Try this! There are some others I believe that the Catholic Church used, but this is a start in that direction as a condom prevents multiplying and replenishing the earth: "And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have...

@Philip James

I have been there and done a lot of that. When God called me and my wife to Him in 1976 it was first into the UPC. I learned many good things, including to read the Bible for the first time in my life in the UPC. Bible reading was an uncommon thing and a sometimes a discouraged thing when I...

Yes, and those verses are also speaking of growth, which means from the 'milk' of a baby to the 'meat' of maturity! While we have time, we must continue to grow. To do otherwise is to stagnate and die to God Himself! Where and when and what is the 'second death'?
