Who is our leader sister? Who should our leader be? Without someone able to see and follow who is the Way of God or who knows the Way of God, we are dead! "O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps." Jerem. 10:23 "O that my ways...

Too many people still following leaders and too many of the leaders are blind leading their following into a ditch. Especially people in the Lord with primarily a diet of milk cannot understand. They are not lost, but also they understand very little. God understand its all, which is why walking...

Actually I did not post the verse in opposition to what @quietthinker posted but in support of it. He was I believe alluding to the same idea. In God's eyes as I see it, there are only two choices: God's Way or our own way. Christ in us is God's Way!

What man can we trust? My wife and I only take our masks off when we are home, which is most of the time. We trust God, but we do not want to tempt Him.

"To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory" Col. 1:27

In the OT we read of the types and shadows, the temporary things to point out what was to come, from school master to Reality! Even in the NT, we are still involved in too many types and shadows and not many people even want to move to the Reality God has in place. "What is it"? They mostly...

Indeed and what can man give us that did not originally come from God? "But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly after this sort? for all things come of thee, and of thine own have we given thee." I Chron 29:14

Amen... And then I have to insert here the story of my maternal grandfather who a hobo who hopped trains for transportation, but he was never a preacher. He traveled all over the country by hopping freight trains. His nickname was "Blackie" apparently derived either from his very dark skin...

Missing now for several days [last post 5-31], but he usually shows up again. Patience dear sister in Christ!

"Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD" Psalm 150:6

Praying for you sister, that you find what you need!

Not a point to argue with me. I know what God has given me. I will not debate with regard to my testimony!

And the written words of Paul continue... "For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of...

Did it not? Have you been monitoring all believers for the past 2,000 years? We do live for God by faith rather than by knowledge! What is faith? "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen" Heb 11:1 Would you be so definite that you would say that since...

I would guess that depends upon what you mean by "charismatic". If you are talking about tongues, I must strongly disagree. God gave me a gift of tongues in 1976. Initially it could have been described as a baby's babble for I was a baby in Christ. Today it is no babble but a real prayer...

Earned? That is man's way of looking at it. Consider these words spoken by Jesus: "Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots." Luke 23:34 He was forgiving the ones who had just hammered nails into his hands and his feet...

"But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church; and let him speak to himself, and to God." I Cor 14:28

Joining you in prayer here!

@tsr There is only One God, but then there are selfish people. The selfish people go their own ways and mix those ways up with God's Way. When all of the selfishness is gone from believers, [should it ever happen] so will all of the separate ways of the separate denominations be gone. Jesus...

Wow... you and Groucho Marx! I do remember when...!
