I also have a 1611 KJV version and have used it in the past to help me get through a KJV Christian bible study course. It was quite difficult task because I had to use a number of bible versions ie: NIV, Amplified and NASB to give me an understanding of the meaning and then to reply back using...

There will never be unity while some believer's think that they have already arrived at perfection and look down on those who are growing in Christ through sanctification. Even Paul clearly states that he has not yet attained it but forgetting the things that are behind him, he reaches toward...

The idea of sola Scriptura is that there is only one written source of divine revelation, which can never be placed on a parallel status with confessional statements, creeds, or the traditions of the church. Scripture alone has the authority to bind the conscience precisely because only...

I think that there is definitely a place for reason when it comes to salvation. There are plenty of people out there who have questions relating to our faith that they can only grasp when presented as a good sound theological argument [now here I am agreeing that a good theological presentation...

Hi 2 Welcome aboard....Matthew 23:23 he was speaking to those who were under the law even though he himself was under the law, he came to not only fulfill the law but to surpass it through a new covenant - not yet established at that time... ^_^ Shalom!!!

Lol! :D Well, I'm not religious ~ but I am a Christian. In my old Church, religion is: [defined as] man's effort to reach God, whereas Christianity is: [defined as] God reaching man. John 3:3 Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see...

Lol! well said Lux... ^_^ Theologians use their brains also and come up with different conclusions on so many things relating to the Word of God. In the end though...it doesn't really matter that much. Unless it's about salvation... that's another story entirely! Btw: Christians aren't...

Hi Lux! Welcome to CyB :) glad to have you join us! Well If I did not believe or if I had not had a personal encounter with the author of life, I would not be following him today nor would I believe what is written about him. I have not had a personal encounter with any Roman gods or Allah...
