My headsets are all the large external kind. My inner ears are already occupied by my hearing aids. Talk about no room in the ears [or should that be "inn"?] Whenever I wear a covid-19 mask along with my hearing aids and my glasses, when I lean forward my glasses are always falling off...

"Lay hands suddenly on no man[or woman], neither be partaker of other men's sins: keep thyself pure." I Tim 5:22

Speak your piece but be peaceful about with nothing said that might conceivably be offensive to anyone... Huh? When is it time to be silent? "Children should be seen and not heard"! Who and where are the children?

I already had headphones that worked well on my computer, but I bought another set more compatible to my keyboard. We sure are into the technology these days, aren't we? LOL!

I do that sometimes when my wife is working in the next room with her own sound on... Usually she is two rooms away and there is no interference. When I replaced my piano a couple of years ago with an electronic keyboard, I did if for two reasons. One, was that the piano took up a lot of space...

You are need of some new ears to hear, yes?

@thelord's_pearl Are you the Lord's pearl, or are you your own pearl? To whom do you belong... even your physical body? Is it yours to do with as you see fit? "What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?" I...

Indeed with regard to music for God, many of the adjustments to old songs and versions may not be wrong, but they are not for me. God could change me on this of course, but on this point I would be very surprised if He did... Give God the glory!

Give God the glory!

Actually I favor a more Jewish sound than either of our posted versions. I learned the song in a church setting back in the 1970's from a visiting Messianic Jew. I know it is available on the Internet but for this thread I did a quick search and did not find anything else. When we sang that...

This reminds me of my own experience as a devout young Catholic boy, which probably I posted on this forum before but it applies here...:. When I would confess my sins to the priest, he would then ask me upon leaving the confessional but before leaving the building to do a penance which often...

Our understanding of what God is saying to us is by His Spirit. As @Mungo said, many things were not originally addressed to us and may not in a given moment have a message for us. Much of it may never apply to us, but don't discount any of it completely. What you do not understand or have...

Thank you for sharing this. The dream is saying as whole lot as your interpretation indicates. Talk about famines!

For many years I leaped and danced and shouted for the glory of God as David did. This old physical body is unable to do much of the physical any more but the Spirit in me remains willing because it is the Spirit of God which never grows weary or feeble.

Ditto the German. Because of the grammar involved when one is able to understand it the old KJV better express what is written in the original languages than flowing modern English which speaks well when properly understood by all. Modern English works well when speaking because of inflections...

@Mayflower Considering that sealed book about which Isaiah wrote so very long ago and the unlearned could not open it and then the Book which the Lion of Judah prevailed to open loosing the seals. Are they the same or related? Related certainly without delving deeper in that and then there is...

Those old Bibles can be blessings indeed. I guess I have a couple of dozen Bibles aside from computer editions. As you may recall I read three regularly for at least two reasons. One is for the different perspectives and the other is to keep up my Spanish and German. I have not had a friend...

The Thompson Chain Reference has chains on topics which run throughout the Bible on literally hundreds of subjects. There are few major subjects it does not cover. It also contains an more extensive concordance within the same book than most Bibles. It has an extensive dictionary to help with...

But the best of strategies which leave out the Holy Spirit will fail to accomplish God's purpose in us: "Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts." Zech 4:6

In the beginning all was very good, but an open door provided through which men were warned not to pass. They did!
