Philippians 3:20 But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Saviour from there, the LORD Jesus Christ, What is meant that our citizenship is from heaven? When a person is born in a certain country, that person can be said to belong to that country....the land of our birth. If a...

We all go through times and seasons. But it all boils down to what we are learning about God. Can God be trusted? Does He want to let us walk with Him? We are all being tried to see if we will have faith. Faith is a funny thing. You can look to God for many things and then forget that He is...

I didn't post the whole chapter that refutes your conclusions since I thought you knew the bible better than this... Read James 2

Just for the Halibut?

You don't see this, of course. But James relied on the followers of Christ in his day to see this... James 2:24 You see that a person is justified by works and not by faith alone. You need to go back to the bible again....and readjust your interpretations. There is a balance to the word that...

Have we considered the prophetic question..."who can make war with the beast?" With todays' drones and push button warfare...coupled with an unbridled nationalism and pride in military power...who is to say that the so called democratic USA is not really working for a power it has no idea about...

Amen. There seems to be a tendency towards an unbalanced view of things...as in...there is only a danger of DOING that which is lawful and right to be seen as trying to save oneself as opposed to humbly doing what is according to one's conscience. But an ignoring of the other extreme way of...

I have this theory which I call..."the mule theory"...and that is that God allows people to have bibles and to get it wrong and promote lies about it...but still to preserve the bible itself so that it can be passed on (carried) to others who will understand it. If only the people who understood...

We are not told specifically that Balaam started a speaking ministry to warn others by "taking them for a ride." This has not stopped many other "donkeys" from starting their own ministries after they perceived that God also used them once.

The devil is in every system of men...democracy included. Capitalism is a man-made system that is every bit as evil as communism. It is the playground of the flesh. One must remember that God doesn't think as we do. What is highly esteemed by men is abomination with God.

In our time, I fear that this kind of statement by Paul... Phil. 3:10 that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death; ...has become "that I may know the bible (about Him) and the message of His resurrection, the...

These days...every generation is a war generation. Besides the fact that there is a constant spiritual war going on. In that way we have spiritual warfare from generation to generation.

So then in your scheme it was God that caused the person to have the cares of the world choke out the word?

How can you draw back from something you never had? Can you say that the ground that received seed but bore no fruit never really received seed?

And yet somehow John manages to say this... John 1:29The next day he saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world! Did he say the sin of Israel...or the world? John the apostle confirms this when he says that Jesus died for the sins of...

People usually jump to the wrong conclusions when they read about salvation in the bible. If we call on the Lord He will save us....in our present situation. We can undergo many salvations on a daily or weekly basis. It is only the indoctrinated religious mind that sees a one time event...

People respect science...even though so often the theories are absurd. What about the science of God. Where V=FP or....Visitation (from God) = Faith x Prayer. :)

It does kind of sound like that... maybe that's what I was daydreaming about???

We have been having this mysterious looking white fluffy material on the ground the last while. Kinda looks like icing sugar....but a lot colder. Hmm :(

Remember when it says that two are sleeping in the same bed...but only one is taken? This surely points to an unequally yoked marriage where one is faithful to Christ and the other not.
