Uhuh! now tell me about the "Elijah didn't go to heaven but was transported through the atmosphere to another place by Chariots of fire." [but not the Kingdom of Heaven] Thanks

I'm sorry to hear about your Grandmother too... and I pray that God will give you the opportunity to mend the breach between you Mom and yourself. May the Lord out God continue to bless and encourage you in your walk with him, may he bless and restore all things in the days ahead and...

My quote: your quote: Please note: 2 Kings 2 2 And it came to pass, when the Lord was about to take up Elijah into heaven by a whirlwind, that Elijah went with Elisha from Gilgal. 2 Then Elijah said to Elisha, “Stay here, please, for the Lord has sent me on to Bethel.” Gen 5:24 And Enoch...

I don't believe that at all...otherwise Enoch who and Elijah would not have gone into heaven in bodily form....Those who died in Christ, IMHO are not the same as those who were awaiting Christ's redemption. It seems that God himself allowed these thing to happen.. your quote He did not rise...

Hi MT! The O/Pr was inquiring if anyone knew who the saints were...who arose after Christ's resurrection in Matthew 27:50-53 ^_^

Hi John! your quote: These verses only prove that these saints did not receive the promises when they died. It does not say that they did not receive those promises when Christ died and rose again. Note: I personally do not believe that those who died before Christ, waiting on the...

...because men [mankind] came under a curse...and Jesus was predestined through a promise to restore our relationship back with the Father through his death and resurrection...1 Peter 20, Revelation 13:8 ...but that's another thread entirely... ;)

Jesus needed to be of Jewish descent, born under the law, so that he could fulfill the law. If he were for example of Gentile parentage...he could not rightly fulfill the law with all it's requirements. The fulfillment of the law required a perfect, sinless sacrifice which Jesus achieved...
