Half an hour of Our Father and Hail Mary is not fervent prayer...it is prayer by rote... They are singing..... If the Catholic Church chooses to use the Rosary thing as a form of meditation, that's fine...but please don't try to make out that it is more than it actually is...It is a ritualistic...

Sure is... :) Hi C Rider! Glad to have you aboard...welcome to CyB Hmmm...you are saved but not a Christian...what gives???

Psalms 136 and Revelation 4, that you have quoted are songs unto the Lord...songs of worship and praise and glory and honor unto God. They have nothing to do with our conversation... ...when the Lamb [which was lain] entered Heaven....myriads of angels, the four living creatures and the...

Commonly known as " the great hallel" Psalm 136 was sung during the period of the great biblical feasts and high times...At the end of of David's life; Solomon - at the dedication of the Temple [2Chron. 7:3-6] the armies of Jehoshaphat [2Chron. 20:19,21] the men of Hezekiah [2 Chron...

I had come to realize some time ago that although we live in this world, we are not part of it. John 17 13 But now I come to You, and these things I speak in the world, that they may have My joy fulfilled in themselves. 14 I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them because they...

This forum is made up of many denominations including a few members of the Catholic Church but it is predominantly made up of a variety of Christian believers. I am from a Pentecostal stream and I originated from the Baptist Church. ^_^ I can honestly state that none of the Churches I have...

The divinity is found in the Godhead only....Mary was a blessed woman but she has no power in the Kingdom of heaven any more than any other believer. The only group of believers who pray to those who have already gone into heaven, [other than the Godhead] is the Catholic Church. This practice is...
