Dev, does this mean they want you to try to start working? Years ago I knew a gal who was on disability. They finally made her get a job at a restaurant. She was a hostess. She was so slow that the restaurant apparently didn't want her. So she soon got back on disability!

@My Dreams Just an explanation about the saying "don't put the cart before the horse." It is a common saying here in the USA and apparently in Australia, too. It just means put things in the proper order in order to achieve something. Such as work hard, then God will bless your efforts.

I see you are from central PA. I grew up in Pittsburgh, PA but lived most of my life here in Los Angeles.

@BlessedPeace Hi, hadn't seen you around. Are you getting snow and how are the wildlife doing on your strip of land lately? Have a nice, blessed New Year.

Blessings to all in the New Year! Will watch some TV, will see what's on. I don't like the New Year music specials too much...too noisy for me. But the Country music specials are better....quieter. If a good movie is on the old Movie channel, might watch it. So far they've had Fred...

Yes, Happy New Year! May it be a blessed one for us all.

I only recently found the above type of videos. Started with the rain ones as I love the sound of rain. When I was a child, we had such wonderful thunder and rain in Pennsylvania. A simple joy which I miss a lot. Also, found these lovely walking videos...

A nice walking video, rainy day in Old Jerusalem.

This guy has tiny cabins. Here's one where he spends two days in a snowstorm in Minnesota with his dog. He thanks the Lord towards the end of the video.

Another nice one...

This is really nice...rain with fireplace sounds. It's a long video for sleeping.

The foxes are getting their treats (frozen mice) at Fox Tales Florida. The white foxes (snowglos) towards the end of the video are recent fur farm rescues.

Anybody else love the sound of rain? I wish we got rain more often here!

I only reported one because afterwards I saw that he had posted the same thing on almost every topic! He seemed to leave the Christian Entertainment forum alone though.

Can you share any favorite, secular YouTube channels? Lately I've been watching some walking videos. The walks are in countryside and interesting towns or cities. Also, I like the videos with rain sounds and beautiful scenery. If you subscribe to the channel, you can view all of their...

You might like Dr. Colin Smith of Open The Bible.... he's very good. My cousin who suffered terribly with cancer and died after many years probably wouldn't have made it as long as she did without listening to the encouraging words of Osteen. While he preaches only a certain type of message...
