    Hi, welcome.

I would think any shoes that are comfortable would suffice...as long as they aren't totally falling apart. :)

Do You Like The Area Where You Live?

There's a lot of convenience where I live (a business district in Los Angeles). But now I am not going out much like before.... senior citizen, walking issue. I used to jump onto the nice subway often which has art works and colorful stations. Could do shopping for groceries, errands and...

    What's the scoop?

    Yes, that's it exactly.

    What's the scoop?

Most people who come to know/believe in Jesus and are born again (thereby having the Holy Spirit indwelling them) desire to grow spiritually. They desire the peace and joy of fellowship with God, rather than what the devil offers them. I've never heard anyone until now claim they can now feel...

    Lovely Winter

I hear Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where I grew up is getting milder Winters now. However, I can remember waiting for the bus to go to school and I would be freezing! There was a stone bus shelter but it still was cold. Once the snow was so bad that the busses couldn't get through. The high...

    What's the scoop?

We can't lose our salvation.... however, a born again child of God has a desire to grow spiritually. A sinful lifestyle will grieve the Holy Spirit within a born again Christian. Therefore, to walk with Jesus is a peaceful, contented life.

    What's the scoop?

Yes, salvation is by grace through faith, however a true Christian (indwelt by the Holy Spirit upon being born again) will have a desire to leave their old sinful lifestyle. They may struggle with sin, but they hate the sins that beset them. As we learn to walk with Jesus, our lives will...

    What's the scoop?

You made the above statement to me so I will respond to that only. You ignored my questions asking if you were truly sincere when you prayed for forgiveness. Or did you merely mouth words? If you were sincere about wanting forgiveness for your sins and truly believed on Christ as your...

    I Need To Ask

I guess people have to try to get the issue on the ballots, so they can vote on it. Los Angeles received many bus loads of illegal immigrants from Texas. One particular church is helping them alot. Also, I think some had family here so they went to stay with family.

    What's the scoop?

I didn't read the entire thread so others probably covered this already. But when you prayed for forgiveness of your sins, were you truly sincere about it? Or was it just words you said? Were you truly sorry for your sins? When I prayed for forgiveness (1972), I also asked the Lord to come...

    Peace

Yes, his paintings are lovely. Several years ago I bought a few boxes of Christmas cards with his paintings. They were mostly church scenes with good Christian messages inside.

    Lovely Winter

Anyone getting much snow? Maybe you can even post a photo for us? I'm not in snow country but always love to see a Winter scene. I grew up in Pennsylvania so guess that's why I love to see snowy scenery. Here is a Christmas-y scene I use for wallpaper.
