    Dispensationalism

I also believe in a rapture and a millennial rule. But that doesn't make me a dispensationalist.
  2. Episkopos

    Dispensationalism

I am talking about what this doctrine does for people. It causes them to be unfruitful in the things of God...to remain unspiritual.

    The Upward Path

And some are as big as skyscrapers.
  4. Episkopos

    Dispensationalism

Another biggie that dispies refute is the kingdom of God. That is huge as we are to seek it first. So if you believe it is only in the future....how do you seek the future? So then dispies ignore the gospel of the kingdom saying that it has been replaced by the gospel of grace....for now. Then...
  5. Episkopos

    Dispensationalism

We all want as many people as possible to be saved. But the danger in not seeing the spiritual nature of the kingdom...is that many will not be qualified to enter in based on a lack of knowledge about that preparation. No one goes to the cross by choice....you have to believe it is necessary...
  6. Episkopos

    Dispensationalism

The key to understanding eschatology is looking at things from a spiritual, rather than a natural perspective. And this is especially true concerning Israel. The church is the lost sheep of Israel. The gospel is first to the Jews and then to the nations. There is One gospel. One Bride. One...
  7. Episkopos

    Dispensationalism

All Israel is the Gentiles added to the Jews....not the Jews added to the Gentiles. When the fullness of the Gentiles comes is...then all of Israel will have been saved.

    The Righteousness of God

Righteousness is to DO the right thing. It doesn't mean to be sinless...but rather to act with love and good intent. It is honest and innocent of evil intent. Sometimes it means to believe something...from good faith...but mainly to do something. The second main commandment...to love others...is...

    The Righteous

The difference between these two things is truly the distance between us and God....in today's world ....IN the church. Righteousness is to DO the right thing. It doesn't mean to be sinless...but rather to act with love and good intent. It is honest and innocent of evil intent. Sometimes it...

Ezekiel 37 I can't wrap my head around this, any help would be a blessing

true...like the personality flaw of burning people at the stake like Luther or Calvin.
  11. Episkopos

The Law of Moses-Ten Commandments or God's Laws

But what is the emphasis...spending time with God...or doing it on a certain day? Does spending time with God on a different day not count somehow in your estimation?

Ezekiel 37 I can't wrap my head around this, any help would be a blessing

Darby put it into a system of belief. And the dispie beliefs have permeated a lot of churches. Of course a lot of people avoid the cross...even in holiness churches. But they aren't usually teaching others to do so.

Ezekiel 37 I can't wrap my head around this, any help would be a blessing

Darby was closed brethren I think...excommunicating anyone who disagreed with him.
  14. Episkopos

Ezekiel 37 I can't wrap my head around this, any help would be a blessing

I omitted in their eschatology...concerning Israel. My mistake.
  15. Episkopos

Ezekiel 37 I can't wrap my head around this, any help would be a blessing

A Christian speaks with kindness and love. You could learn a lot from reading the bible and doing as it says. The devil is the accuser of the brethren. But I am not a liar. Darbyism denies the cross of Christ. It denies that WE need to go to the cross. The devil can't stop Jesus from going to...

Ezekiel 37 I can't wrap my head around this, any help would be a blessing

It seems we are to have a love/hate relationship with ourselves. ;)

Many are called but few are chosen

In a bridal feast, the guests far outnumber the wedding party. So we might say...they are many. And the bridal party is normally just 2 people...so we might call these...few.
  18. Episkopos

Many are called but few are chosen

Mat. 22:14 For many are called, but few are chosen. So who are the many? Who are the chosen? Chosen by whom? and how?...and for what?

    Dispensationalism

Something that Steve mentioned in the video...about we Gentiles being grafted into the "green olive tree" ...which is both Judah and Israel. Because the tree is a leafy tree...all the branches that don't bear fruit are broken off. Jer. 11:16 The Lord called your name, Green Olive Tree, Lovely...

Ezekiel 21 Destroy the Righteous Along With the Wicked

That's so much better than having to stay in the hospital and spend your time there. I'm praying for a quick recovery. :)
