    The Key of David.

Back to Peter receiving the keys to the kingdom. Peter was the one who brought the first Gentiles into the kingdom. (Acts 10) He was also the one who laid hands (with John) on the Samaritans. So we see the inaugural opening up of the spiritual realm to all men was given to Peter. Does that...

    Jesus and Commands

Not when the letter of the law gets in the way of the spirit of the law. Which is greater...the shadow...or the real thing? The misunderstanding or the reality? For instance.....Jesus healing on the sabbath and saying...take up your mat. When the religious men saw this....they rebuked the...

Hell is Forever - Punishment, Torment or Torture - You Would Not Cease to Exist

People tend to read themselves into the text...watch a persons' behaviour...then listen to their doctrine. It is like ....What does your doctrine do to you? If it causes you to judge others and condemn others ....you need new teaching.

Hell is Forever - Punishment, Torment or Torture - You Would Not Cease to Exist

So you are a Tormentalist too? I guess I knew that somehow?

Hell is Forever - Punishment, Torment or Torture - You Would Not Cease to Exist

How can I be the troll when I joined in 2011? How long have you been here? Trolls often bring videos... just sayin'

    Calvinism?

    ...oh...and a Giver. :)

Hell is Forever - Punishment, Torment or Torture - You Would Not Cease to Exist

You are presenting an opinion. And a mighty skewed opinion at that. The corpses of the rebellious will not decompose as a reminder...for ever. Their worm shall not die...but they did.

    Calvinism?

That's untrue and putting me in a box. I said God will have mercy on SOME. Just not according to your will...but His. Not according to your mercy...but His...not according to your understanding....but His. Is that so hard to accept? I thought you believed in the sovereignty of God.

Hell is Forever - Punishment, Torment or Torture - You Would Not Cease to Exist

Do you know why it is called "the second death?" Don't fear men who kill the body...but God who kills both body AND soul in hell. Do men torment your body forever? ....neither does God.

    The Righteous

Jesus gave a parable about 2 sons. One said he would do what his father asked...but didn't. And the other said he wouldn't...but did. This is the kind of thing you can expect with human beings.

    Calvinism?

AHA...you now show your selfish motive. Are you a Christian because of a self-interest? Are you looking to save yourself? A Christian is learning to rule with Christ...not just get "saved". The saints will rule over the saved nations in the next age. Read the bible carefully.

Hell is Forever - Punishment, Torment or Torture - You Would Not Cease to Exist

I think you are looking for vengeance...and trying to make God out to be sadistic. We tend to read our own understanding into the word.
  13. Episkopos

    Calvinism?

You are making something very simple to be very confusing. What you are thinking of is a religious affiliation. God is NOT religious. Which denomination does God belong to? How about Jesus? Do you know who you are talking about?
  14. Episkopos

Hell is Forever - Punishment, Torment or Torture - You Would Not Cease to Exist

Of course hell is eternal. But the people in it are dead. Try to stay honest in the discussion. Don't play word games.....and you might learn the truth.
  15. Episkopos

    Calvinism?

Don't confuse issues. It doesn't say...God will have mercy on everybody...but you won't like God's ways. He saves non-Christians too. Religious snits ensue.
  16. Episkopos

    Calvinism?

So then many non-Christians will indeed be saved...through God's mercy based on the finished work of Christ. See...it has nothing to do with works or beliefs. It is ALL God.

    Christ In You

Of course it is. Paul was afraid of losing his place...he was afraid of being disqualified...cut off. And he warns those who actually read their bibles of the same thing. WE are called to follow Christ. The ball is in OUR court. I thought you would know that. Precisely the opposite is true...
  18. Episkopos

    Calvinism?

Again...no. Paul is a drama king.
  19. Episkopos

    Calvinism?

Clearly error. Why doesn't it say....God so loved the church (or elect) that He gave His Son????? You are still diminishing and boxing in God. I guess you just can't help yourself. God is merciful...and He will have mercy on people you would never dream of having mercy on. As you will find out.
