I appreciate the sincerity of your words, but when I back slid in the early 1990s [don't change the subject by trying telling me now that I was not saved in the 1st place] I had been involved in very intense Bible study for years already, reading and studying for long hours to somehow attain to...

Extra biblical books? So you do not believe that God inspired men to write even 39 Old Testament books? What I cited to you was from the writings of Solomon. Jesus said this of Solomon: "The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with the men of this generation, and condemn them: for...

I have heard of this before, but not having understood a lot of the details very well I appreciated the video you shared which brought some of it into better focus... Understanding such things as possibilities [I don't know them to be more than that] may help a person gain a better vision of the...

Amen Sister! When I back slid in the 1990's I forgot most of the scripture I once knew by heart. Today I cannot quote John 3:16 just to be doing it. But... when I am led by the Spirit I know what to say and/or when I need a specific verse of scripture I will know where it is located in the...

So long as we seek first God's kingdom and God's righteousness, how would those things ultimately matter?

Our God is certainly able to provide all of our needs... "And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As the LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word. And the word of the LORD came...

Amen!

While that sounds good, don't forget to mention the lead of the Holy Spirit! Without that all of our study as per the II Tim 2:15 verse you posted could end up here: "And further, by these, my son, be admonished: of making many books there is no end; and much study is a weariness of the flesh."...

Thanks... If I should happen to see it listed I may give it a try since some here have has given it a thumbs up.

Lots of things that pass for movies or entertainment these days are things I cannot tolerate personally at all. Even some of the advertisements are sickening. I have tried to watch a few unknown newer movies or TV episodes based on more promising title and had to turn them off for one reason of...

Thank you for the information. Carry on then my friend!

Ah ha! I vaguely remember the name, but I am sure I never saw it. Was it a TV series or a movie and was it at all worth while?

Over the years I have moved from here to there. About 30 years ago I was moving steadily but too much under my own steam and I back slid for 10 years. When God brought me back He gave me a better Way telling to keep my eyes and ears open. Answers I have for me, but I don't insist that others...

I take it then that your avatar picture is not a current depiction of you... My picture is me on my 70th birthday [7 years ago] with my wife standing next to me. Want to play a game of tennis? I would love to... but don't wait at the court too long for my arrival! LOL

I've been guilty at times of posting long posts, but when the shoe is on the other foot, I avoid reading many of the long posts of others. Is turn about always fair play?

Especially it is mostly nothing new. A 'my knowledge is better than yours' battle for the mastery, where no man is going to win anything other than perhaps a further inflated pride.

And our God knows more than both of us combined. He is certainly the one to follow!

One person at the time: The missionary must be concerned with doing his job to assure his own salvation while he is trying to help others. For his own sake he has to do what he believes is the right thing which means he teaches what God has shown him...or what he believes God has shown him. This...

If we do have the Light of God in us and we are always led by the Spirit we will never seek after inaccurate knowledge nor follow after inaccurate knowledge which would lead us away from God. Our knowledge or the lack thereof regarding the state of the dead will make no difference IF we are...

How are you coming to all of those conclusions about me when all I did was ask questions on my last post to you. You did not answer my questions. For your information I read all of the Bible continuously, but I don't draw conclusions because someone else did. I look to and wait on the Lord...
