Mel, how are you feeling lately? Praying.

Another video about the cost of living in India. This American guy moved to India. He rented a two bedroom apartment for only $167 a month! Video is only three years old.

I did see some videos where the tourists were being charged much more for something. One tourist was buying ice cream for a few street children and was charged more. A local stepped in and got him the actual price.... 20 cents each, rather than the 75 cents for each ice cream.

Hi, welcome. Enjoy the fellowship.

The older man who peddles the tourist around (in above video) works eight hours day. He makes from a few dollars to six or maybe eight dollars a day. Of course the cost of living is much cheaper in India. The following video shows how hard it is to spend 100 U.S. dollars in India because...

I was curious about the cost of living in India. I know it is much cheaper than the USA and elsewhere. Found this interesting video. Trying to spend $100 in India....not easy because everything is so cheap!

This made me chuckle. One fox wanted to claim all of the chicken pieces!

And the reputable charities do check out ministries or individuals before simply handing money over to them. Christian Aid in Virginia helps poor indigenous missionaries and pastors but thoroughly checks each ministry out for sound doctrine and wise handling of finances. I remember the story...

Here's the video on New Delhi if anyone is interested... https://www.christianityboard.com/threads/interesting-chaotic-new-delhi.58166/

Yes, that's what I thought....those people are truly living in a slum. She is so happy her kids get the schooling and can go to college eventually. The Italian guy who makes these videos does a good job. I just posted another interesting one on New Delhi by him. The older man who peddles...

Anyone interested in seeing the sounds, sights, people and food of New Delhi, India? This video shows it all. Well made, interesting.

Quite interesting. She lives in a tent slum. He visits with her family and sees a free school run by an Italian woman. Many slum children attend the large school and college will also be free of charge.

I hope the friend comes for his dog and is a kind person.

Praying. Try meditating on some comforting verses from The Psalms. I often think of a few favorites in the morning.

Agreeing in prayer for your country.

Dev, I hope you will call for help for the dog. If that neighbor threatens you, you could tell them to leave you alone or you will call 911. How many neighbors are in your building? He might not know who called about the abuse.

Oh my. That's so horrible he is abusing that little dog. Prayed now. Is there any way the abuse can be heard by people passing by on the street? Or can it be heard by any other neighbor? If so, he might not know that you called animal control.

That's a beautiful prayer. Here's one that I love....

Thanks everyone for replying. I'm not tech savvy but was thinking of someone in particular here at the forum. Was thinking they might make a little income from having a YouTube channel.

The wildflowers idea sounds really great! They can be like a carpet, that's what happens in some areas in Southern California.
