The Church The Papacy Says You Should Join

You claiming technical foul wins you no argument. Jesus often quoted in this same way. "Who" is not important except in the judgement. God is no respecter of persons.

The Church The Papacy Says You Should Join

Those in bold are all me quoting the scriptures in various places in paraphrase.

The Church The Papacy Says You Should Join

That is why I quote Jesus saying it too, and referred to the scriptures saying the same thing multiple ways. Don't take it from me if you don't want to, but I am just repeating the truth--take it from the scriptures. Don't be confused, be convinced. It is not opposite, but states clearly what I...

Why are the 7 Churches in Revelation each greeted differently...

Can there be any greater abomination than Christ condemned in the temple, or any greater tribulation than was placed on Christ? ...Just a side note...but the answer is, No.

Has Jesus come in the spirit?

You rant, then blunder, then give advice. Obvious psychological projection.

The Church The Papacy Says You Should Join

No, it makes the same sense as the comparable circumstance that I quoted of Jesus choosing the twelve, yet one of them was a demon. The point is, there are those among the church who are not sinners, and there are those who are; some who have pasted from death to life; and some who perhaps...

Has Jesus come in the spirit?

Thank you! These verses make it so clear, and yet most of Christendom looks for Him to appear "with observation" (against His own word). Luke 17:20

Has Jesus come in the spirit?

Yes, and there is nothing wrong with that if it is understood, not as the physical resurrection of Christ; but rather that it was His physical resurrection that was a foreshadowing, that points to His ascension, which is the actual act of returning to God, whom is spirit. The mistake is to...

Has Jesus come in the spirit?

You accused me of not believing that Christ has come in the flesh. And this you do while expecting Him to come in the flesh as if He had not already done so. It is I who am acting out belief in His coming in the flesh. But you act as if He has not.

Has Jesus come in the spirit?

So...it was a personal rant. But don't blame me for following the pattern of obscurity which God Himself has determined is best, or that you do not see it. Take your petitions to God. Nonetheless, that portion that you list off is only part. You have left out the commandment to "follow" Him to...

Has Jesus come in the spirit?

You are not making yourself clear. First you give an answer to a question you did not quote (post #111), which made it seem like you might be replying to the OP. But now you say "Of course not" as if you were not replying to the OP. But then you go on to comment on it as if maybe you were after...

Has Jesus come in the spirit?

    Wow...must be a full moon!

Has Jesus come in the spirit?

Are you saying that you don't believe that anyone has Jesus in them, that Jesus lied?

Has Jesus come in the spirit?

Jesus hasn't come in the flesh? Wow--where have you been? Apparently you missed it--it happened 2000 years ago! So, what, you don't believe He came in the flesh 2000 years ago...so you're still waiting? Are you Jewish?

Has Jesus come in the spirit?

Quotable. Self-witness. Amazing. ...I would say, Don't jump. But it looks like I'm too late.

Has Jesus come in the spirit?

And you show envy, rivalry, jealousy, backbiting, and a lack of faith and belief that God at the hand of Jesus has done what He promised, that the Holy Spirit would speak through men. Go ahead...keep score!

Has Jesus come in the spirit?

Indeed, Jesus is in the flesh now, in His body, the church. But you should go back and read all of what I quoted...including Colossians 3:1-5 which says that He does not appear in the earth, but in glory. And don't be so quick to call names when it comes to the Spirit.

Why are the 7 Churches in Revelation each greeted differently...

The word "sword" is the same, but the application is complete in the one, but only in part in the other. The "flaming sword' is "every word that proceeds from the mouth of God", but the "two-edged sword" lacks five.
  19. ScottA

Why are the 7 Churches in Revelation each greeted differently...

This is the "flaming sword which turned every way, to guard the way to the tree of life." Genesis 3:24 To each [only] a part in Christ Jesus, until the end.

Has Jesus come in the spirit?

You have touched on many points, and where I do not wish to argue, the point of this thread and discussion is to make clear what should already be clear...that all who confess and witness that Christ is in them have already seen His return, which began 2000 years ago; and also, that to look for...
