Your emphasis Amos, is a distortion. I am a single man and have been for decades. What do I do with desire?....blame the lack of a woman? Do those temptations get fierce?....you betcha! ...I deal with it just as I deal with any temptation.....I call for help from him who says he will never leave...

hello to you thelordspearl. I am however not sure what intermediate level Christian means?

The major event on the near horizon will be the return of Jesus in the clouds of Heaven and every eye shall see him. As the nations are rallying to unite.....as the global movement for unity using any pretext is in full swing....as there is distress of nations for many reasons, such as never...

all these references become metaphors for God's people in and on the Earth made new. The old order of things will pass away completely. There will be no trace of the old system.....sin, sinners and all that defiles will be gone forever and God's people from all ages will inherit the Earth...with...

it is obvious that by the end of Jesus' discourse the Jews who had 'believed' in him revealed themselves. Is it any different today? People divide the scriptures to suit themselves calling it belief. When the testing time comes, the claimants determine the truth of the matter by their behaviour.

this is my angle.....all in Adam....all in Christ. If all are in Christ there is neither Jew nor Greek.....there is neither past or present ....there is neither male or female. God does not show favouritism to the seed of men re Salvation. He does not segregate because of ethnicity or time...

lol...now that's really pulling the text apart to support a predetermined view.

The text tells us right at the outset that Jesus was speaking to the jews who believed in him.....check it. The question that it begs is what's the story with these 'believers'? There are many 'believers' when it is convenient. They seem to mouth all all the right stuff till it comes to bearing...

As far as I can tell the Sabbath Commandment applies from sunset to sunset and is not dependant on any dateline.

Confusing cause and response or cause and prophecy makes God responsible for Lucifers rebellion....ie, Lucifer uses this argument to justify his rebellion/accusation ie 'God's way of running the show is tilted in his favour because he has the power to control everything therefore it is self...

It is assumed that prophecy means causation. This is not true. Prophecy announces what God already knows will unfold....it does not mean he causes it to unfold.

yeah, I know what it says FH11. One must look at it through the lens of Jesus....his name (character) Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today and forever. Jesus is the defining interpretation of God. Jesus gives life and desires it for all men. God's character is vindicated (it is finished) in...

At 19 a few months before my 20th birthday I was living in a country hippie commune at the end of the hippie era. It was the stereotypical 'free' live as you please arrangement. One day one of the young people came back from town telling us he'd seen flyers in the store windows advertising a...

People will choose destruction...they will create it themselves....just as Judas did

1 Corinthians 15:22....As in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive. The assumption is that God rejects when it is clear that God is in the Salvation business not the damnation business. Did Jesus reject Judas?.....Judas condemned himself and what's more, he killed himself. The good...

It is breathtaking. Why would anyone pervert such generosity, such Grace? Like Judas, seeing and hearing and being an intimate associate of Jesus yet choosing to put his own spin on the matter resulted in self destruction. Yes, self destruction is the end of faithlessness.

I have not heard of him hishandmaiden. The videos however in the link below are very insightful and encouraging For God's Sake – Ian Hartleyhttp://ian-greyhartley.com

It is no mystery.....with prolonged use, one wears the uniform. One might ask, what uniform? Our mouths and our bodies advertise what is worn. Physically....ingest junk, ingest enough of it and you can be assured ones body will reveal it and smell accordingly. It matters not whether that junk...

Wow...and I thought the Law was done away with!
