Welcome wanelad , I hope you are blessed with your time here. I too am longing for Christ's coming. Come quickly Lord Jesus.

Two or three prophets should speak, and the others should weigh carefully what is said. 1 Cor 14:29-30 That is correct. However, please speak plain, simple language so us non-theologians can comprehend and weigh what you are trying to say.. Also relying so heavily on commentators does no...

Revelation is imperative, even if you are learning from a teacher as so many teachers disagree. Otherwise how would you know which teaching is correct. No. They work together. However I would like to say that the way you teach is unintelligible, even if you have the truth. Quoting...

. You made my day.

Aspen, you crack me up. Lol

I think the Holy spirit has been teaching you. Am I correct?

I prefer the way of the prophets, all of whom received what they had directly from God. Amos answered Amaziah, I was neither a prophet nor a prophet's son, but I was a shepherd, and I also took care of sycamore-fig trees. But the LORD took me from tending the flock and said to me, 'Go...

Second coming, reward of the righteous, rapture, and judgment of the wicked are on the same day. A rebuttal of false teachings concerning the second coming of Christ. (Please decide for yourself what is the truth. Acts 17:11 ) Isaiah 29:5 The LORD Almighty will come with thunder and...

Greetings Popeye. "Scholars" do more to confuse people than they do to bring light to the scriptures." I'm sure Peter would have been baffled.

You have complicated a very simple doctrine with multiple "second comings", and resurrections of the saints because of your need ( or rather that of your teachers) to insert a thousand years between these "comings" of Christ.. There is only one second coming when the Lord Jesus is revealed...

Hi BIbleScibe, what were your thoughts on the resurrection into a glorious "Spiritual" (non physical) body. 1 Cor 15:35-54 35 Someone may ask, "How are the dead raised? With what kind of body will they come?" How foolish! What you sow does not come to life unless it dies... 42 The...

"the primary reason being Revelation 20:4-5." Revelation 20:4-5 says that the saints will rule with Christ. But Revelation 7:9-17 says from WHERE they will reign ( from heaven). Why do you assume they reign on Earth? They reign over the Earth as Christ does. Don't you know that the...

Some will respond to God's word, I did. Others will go deeper into deception as they continue to deny God's word in an effort to maintain their heresy.

I'm a fruitarian, I'll l have some of that fruit there. "The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control." Gal 5:22

Shep, send me a friendship request at Facebook.

Rev 20:2 "I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key to the Abyss and holding in his hand a great chain. He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil, or Satan, and bound him for a thousand years. He threw him into the Abyss, to keep him from deceiving...

Using that 7000 year thingy is not sound bible interpretation. However if you want to go there, I would say the day of rest would be eternity because that's exactly what it will be for the saints. I don't think having Satan set loose at the end of this period would qualify for rest. We are in...

Good, it is the correct interpretation. We are in the millennium, but we are at the end of it, and Christ's final coming is eminent. The first world continues to arm the Muslim nations surrounding Israel and are about ready for Armageddon. I will gather all the nations to Jerusalem to...
