Where is Satan? Who is he? Within us do we not have two opposing forces, one desiring to live toward what we were before we met the Lord and another desiring to become more like Jesus? When a person in a church group sins against people in the church and repents and is forgiven. That is a good...

Consider that it is as an impossible goal like the exemplary life of Jesus himself. We don't do it by our efforts alone, but our efforts are also required. Our efforts and then God takes up the slack. Then again, perhaps that widow lady's life was not so exemplary when she was young, but with...

Both of those verses speak of blasphemy, but are their sins unforgivable...? "If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it." I John 5:16...

@Ben Abraham Give God the glory!

You are welcome among us Ben Abraham. Thank you for sharing with us! The Lord will provide and indeed He provided in the place of that name a shadow of what was really to come. Then He provided the reality... but as we know, in the shadow, God spared the son of Abraham, but His own Son who...

I really wish I could say you were wrong. Americans for the most part, I believe, are getting exactly what they have asked for...but they don't understand what that means to God or to themselves. Many may speak the name of Jesus but they actually closer in line behind the way of Superman. What...

Amen! Wrong focal point yields an incorrect vision or no vision.

"Quench not the Spirit." I Thess 5:19

No matter the law actually says consider the possibilities without strict attention to the law. Was it legal under the laws the Great Britain for a colony to declare its independence from the laws of Great Britain? What did it finally take for Great Britain to recognize the United States as an...

Yes, the flesh of our Lord, but if we do not also drink His blood, where is the Life?

After this conversation which I spoke to my wife about she called her Allergy Specialist doctor for advice with regard to the vaccines. Just minutes ago today the doctor called back advising strongly against my wife taking, the Pfizer, the first one being offered in Oklahoma because her extreme...

You do the best that you can and strive to do better asking God sincerely for help to do so. Alone, none of us can do it all right all of the time. With God's help, if we allow Him to help, what is impossible?

@April_Rose While I was writing my response in post #6 I see that two others have also responded. As you can see there are different opinions on this thing among people on the forum. These are perhaps among the reasons why there was a Reformation in the time of Martin Luther and now we see...

Is knowing about God even believing that He exists equal to knowing God? I do not believe so. Consider "Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble." James 2:19 The devils believe in the existence of one God. They know about the existence of...

Start with this: Someone who has never known God, I believe, cannot blaspheme the Holy Spirit. If this were true it would give us an idea what blaspheming the Holy Spirit is Not! Then again, no one accidently blasphemes the Holy Spirit. No one is accidently lost to the salvation of God. Being...

Some, who were called by God to be pastors, I believe, are not working as they should in their calling. Then again there are some holding the position of pastor but, I believe, were never called by God to be in that position. I knew at least one of the latter some years ago. Having a doctorate...

@My Dreams Praying now!

Are you ever reminded of this widow? "And there was one Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Aser: she was of a great age, and had lived with an husband seven years from her virginity; And she was a widow of about fourscore and four years, which departed not from the...

One reason would be because it is time to be silent; another one could be that I do not at the moment know the answer to your question and while I could express ignorance, that also may not be the will of God for the moment. Where does the Holy Spirit lead us? What words or the lack thereof does...
