@April_Rose In Australia already they are in it, but we need to wait a few more hours. 2021 is coming soon and hopefully we will all acknowledge the blessings of God in it more than any pain, anguish or disappointment! Give God the glory!

@theefaith Perhaps this will help: What is the Word of God? What is a Protestant Bible? Why do you assume I believe there are 66 books in the Bible? Are you presuming that I believe the Bible is the Word of God?

Dear, dear Helen, so very good to have you here responding for yourself with your report. May God bless you and keep you always... John/Amadeus

I had asked some specific questions, of which you have failed to answer any.

You did not answer my question rather asking an unrelated question expecting an answer? I thought you were talking about the trinity? Are you presuming I believe something I made no statement about one way or the other? Why would you derail your own thread? What is the Word of God? What is a...

Welcome @soul man !

@Billy Evmur Welcome to the forum!

@theefaith And if someone does not deny what you call the "most holy trinity" but simply cannot embrace that which he cannot see, where does that leave him? From where comes a person's faith in God? "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." Rom 10:17 Is there...

Perhaps, but I will move forward with the Lord one step at the time. I eat His flesh and drink His blood daily. When I meet a new person who is open to God and I have been and I am walking in the Spirit being filled to overflowing with He he provided, what will I lack, be he natural Jew or...

Yes, the power of the most High may be seen throughout the scriptures, both OT and NT. Different gifts were perhaps available in the NT, but God, who has never changed, remained the same!

Then our discussion is over! May God richly bless you!

Very simply... "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness;.." If we are actively seeking those two things, is it really necessary for us to know what "all of these things which shall be added" are? "... and all these things shall be added unto you." Matt 6:33 What is time...

Thank you! I believe that when they took the first biopsy after the first definite melanoma cancer some years ago they explained all these things. Yes, I could ask again, but the explanation would not stick for long. My wife knows and remembers these kinds of things for me. She does not go to...

Yes, Hitler knew how to play the political game well to keep the opposition happy until he was strong enough and the laws set in place to get rid of them one way or the other. He was especially careful in the beginning to not offend either the Catholic or Protestant church people. Apparently the...

People who did not experience the war years are often, I guess, disconnected from them, as if it was only another fictional story. I was born in 1943, so I have no personal memories of WWII, but I had lots of family who did remember and I bothered to look into it some myself beyond the outline...

A person can learn a lot from studying the scriptures by subject. I have done that, but I learned a long time ago that I needed the whole loaf even if I cannot understand it all. One brother who taught me many things over the years admitted to me that he had never sat down and read through the...

Indeed, while I have not yet made a detailed study of the numbers as I have thought to do for many years, I have certainly taken note of many of them in the scriptures. Forty [40] is one of the very apparent ones as you have indicated. The 'why' of the repeated enslavement of the Hebrews for...

Sorry, I did mention Caleb and Joshua in the beginning, but did not amplify. Also of course, the youngsters, under the age of 20 at the time they left Egypt. I believe, were not held accountable and were allowed to enter the Promised Land. Communication between people continues to be a problem...

Many have forgotten that when Hitler was prevailing over all of continental Europe, England stood against them, effectively alone, an island fortress that sacrificed its own strength from 1939 until late in 1941. Then only after being attacked itself by Germany's partner, the Japanese, did...

Sometimes simply telling it as we believe it can be a difficult thing. Jesus told it not only as He believed it, but, being the Truth Himself, as it was. In spite of that he would not back down but was will if necessary to walk alone. "From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked...
