Just so we consider other things here, some years ago our friend @Guiliano [no longer an active member on this forum] on another forum suggested to me that the "skins" provided by God for Adam and Eve to cover them rather than being the skins of some lower [ supposedly] animals was the outer...

@April_Rose Every human being walking around on planet Earth is dead in the eyes of God until and if a person received the Life that Jesus brought. Adam and Eve died when they disobeyed God. How can dead people produce living offspring? "But Jesus said unto him, Follow me; and let the dead...

If what you say is true, why is it important to us?

Then why are they listed in the verse you cited as if they were two things? "He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire." Could you clarify this?

@Amos Ministries To whom is it necessary to prove that we have the Holy Spirit?

Is the baptism of the Holy Spirit equal to the fire?

Just take it one day at the time and one step at the time toward Him! Give God the glory!

Welcome to the forum!

The San Marino stamps were always popular with collectors even though many of them were issued primarily for profit from stamp collectors. As to the latter two, many of the old collectors refused to pay for them or even try to collect them as they were rarely used for postage by anyone even...

I am really praying that all goes well with her, but what does that mean? I want her to return to us here on this forum, but I cannot and should not dictate to God. He knows, but... "... pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth...

My last word from or about her was on Saturday. While she was better then, she definitely said she was still quite sick. Let us continue to keep her in our prayers. Our God is able to see her through in His purpose!

@Mayflower Give God the glory!

Praying for Diane!

Here they were sore on the 3rd day: "And unto Hamor and unto Shechem his son hearkened all that went out of the gate of his city; and every male was circumcised, all that went out of the gate of his city. And it came to pass on the third day, when they were sore, that two of the sons of Jacob...

He was there all of the time. He is there all the time, but where it the eye salve so that we may see? "I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint...

@My Dreams Praying that God keeps His hand on you as you do His work!

An experienced and knowledgeable carpenter and/or contractor may be able to build a solid and beautiful house, but that structure is not yet a home, is it? Indeed it may never be... Even if he were to get married and move into that house, would it automatically be a good home with a good family...

Early in my secular career sitting at a desk most of the day I was drinking a couple of large pots of strong black coffee every day. I was really hooked on it. When I tried to quit cold turkey it was impossible as missing my coffee for a short period brought on the most severe of headaches...

Indeed which man or men shall we follow when we hear their call? In which 'house' will we find Jesus? Where will we find the kingdom of God? "Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you. And he said unto the disciples, The days will come, when...

God gave each of us authority over ourselves [me over me, you over you, etc.] as I understand what I read in Genesis. Adam and Eve took that authority and misused it. Most [all but Jesus] people since then until now it seems to me have done the same. What God wants from each of us is to give...
