The Church The Papacy Says You Should Join

There you go again spewing out your usual manure . . . First of all, the Bible says that those in Heaven are PERFECT. Rev. 21:27 tells us that NOTHING impure or imperfect can enter Heaven. You ARE right about one thing, though: You agree that there are no dead people in Heaven. Therefore, we...

The Church The Papacy Says You Should Join

Ummmmm, I never stated that being saved once is a lie. I have said repeatedly what the BIBLE days - that salvation is a process and not a one-time, slam-dunk event. The Bible is CLEAR about the fact that we go through: INITIAL salvation (Rom. 5:1, 8:24, Eph. 2:5–8) ONGOING salvation (1 Cor...

Uh huh - and every time you produce one of your "examples" - it is ALWAYS something taken out of context or a second or third party source - but never a PRIMARY source. Gee - I WONDER why that is, Phoney??

The Church The Papacy Says You Should Join

WRONG again, my Scripturally-bankrupt friend. At least TWO of those passages (Heb. 10:26-27, 2 Peter 2:20-22) speak to born again believers with an EPIGNOSIS of Christ and the danger of them falling back into darkness and losing their security. Epignosis is defined as a FULL and experiential...

The Church The Papacy Says You Should Join

I don't "squirm" when I read the word of God - I BELIEVE it. And ALL of the verses I presented show dire warnings to born-again Christians not to fall back into darkness and be cut off . . . (Matt. 5:13, Matt. 7:21, Rom. 11:22, Heb. 10:26-27, 2 Peter 2:20-22, 2 Peter 3:17, Rev. 3:5, Rev. 22:19)...

Yup. That's when you pick a little of this - but none of that. It's at the heart of Protestantism.

TRANSLATION: "I have NO valid argument against the verses you presented, so I'll engage in nonsense instead." That's what I thought . . .

The Church The Papacy Says You Should Join

When a Christian stumbles in sin - as ALL Christians do (Rom. 7:7-25, James 5:16, 1 John 1:8) - we are not "re-saved". We repent - and like faithful servants, we ask for God's forgiveness and mercy. The difference between a Christian and a person of the world is that a Christian regrets...

And you have completely failed to address how those with an EPIGNOSIS of Christ are warned in Scripture to maintain their faith or be cut off. Instead, you have swallowed the arrogant Protestant lie that is OSAS. Good luck with that . . .

Nope - I was merely making the point that even a bumper sticker gets it right - and YOU don't . . .

And people who aren't very intelligent don't understand the definitions of words like "Pray". Allow me to educate you . . . Definition of the word “PRAY”: Merriam-Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary: Full Definition of pray transitive verb 1: entreat, implore —often used as a function word in...

Pay attention. Pauk wasn't writing to "ALL" of Rome. He was writing to the CHURCH at Rome. He refers to the CHURCH at Rome as "God's holy people" (Rom. 1:7) - and he warns them NOT to fall back into darkness and be cut off from God. He's not writing to UNbelievers - but to born again believers.

I forgot that as an SDA - you believe in the false, man-made heresy of "Soul Sleep." The Word of God quickly puts that bad idea to rest: Heb. 9:27 And just as it is appointed for man to DIE once, and after that comes judgment/ "Sleep" is simply a Scriptural metaphor for physical death.

Nobody in the Catholic Church claims to have "equal" power to God. This is yet another one of your distortions. Nice try . . .

She DOES intercede by praying for us. When you ask a friend to pray for you - THEY become intercessors.

The Church The Papacy Says You Should Join

We only pray to Mary or other saints to pray FOR us. We don't worship them. When you ask a fellow Christian here on earth to pray for you - you are praying TO them to pray for you. This is NO DIFFERENT than asking a saint in Heaven to pray for you. "Pray" simply means to "ask". In fact...

WRONG again, my ignorant and arrogant friend. The people Paul is writing to are BORN AGAIN believers. Paul refers to them as "God's holy people" (Rom. 1:7). - yet he WARNS them about falling away and being CUT OFF (Rom. 11:22). Don't just quote the Bible. STUDY and LEARN what it means . . .

Then YOU are at ODDS with Sacred Scripture. Good luck with that . . . Romans 11:22 “See, then, the kindness and severity of God: severity toward those who fell, but God's kindness to you, provided you REMAIN in his kindness; otherwise you to will be cut off.” Paul is warning the faithful to...
