LOL The library is history and things they had done in the past. You might be surprised as to what they have officially made apologies for. Should Christians forgive? Granted that records kept pertaining to the witnessed and documented tortures of the witch-hunts and inquisitions would be...

This thing is huge

Like is said, no hard feelings. The point has been made, that is good enough.

LOL Chained to the pulpit! Before the advent of printing presses, Bibles were hand written and hand illustrated and decorated. Very expensive. The Catholics did not allow people to have Bibles, the scriptures were only to be interpreted by the Church. Independent translations were forbid upon...

This would be true of nearly any translation of any language, but if you throw into the mix an antient culture then you have more difficulties. The New Testament was written in Pagan languages...mostly Greek and some Aramaic. The Apostles were tasked with taking a Pagan language and using it to...

Define trustworthy. Odds are good that you have a book about Christianity that does not have the name of God the Father or God the Son in it. I am not only going to ask if that is aright by you but also...who would want to take the names of God the Father and God the Son out of scriptures? The...

You think I am being coy! LOL If I cannot get you to think, it does not matter. Alright...the history of the modifications to the Old Testament scriptures is common knowledge. I listed some of Old and New Testament modification here....The Bible - How do you view it ? Debate...The Bible-How do...

Good question! If you questioned the accuracy of all translations...where would you look to find the "most" original scriptures?

The scriptures. What an easy answer. The problem...there is a big difference between the scriptures and what is printed in most Bibles of today. The scripture is truth. Go back the best you can to the scriptures.

Heresy is not about doctrine really. In the context that you believe different than I do, is the most naïve understanding. How can you define heresy when the scriptures have been so radically changed. If you do not investigate how the scriptures have been changed, you are just choosing to...

No retirement is too fun.

I am retired. Not their God. LOL They do not agree with the name. It proves some of man's physics calculations were correct, a piece of the puzzle. Proves nothing in the physical. Some admit to intelligent design in private and some are just stubborn. Funny! They thought that they had it all...

LOL First off I was using the term fantasy a little tongue in cheek. There is an old saying...it is what it is. Some people understand...or should understand that in the ancient world they had their own set of beliefs. The Greeks explored a lot of this by observation and speculation. It was an...

Yes I like that story. I have had enough intense visual and audible miracles that it has changed my faith...is it faith if you know? Two way communications can be life changing. And then why me? I am no saint. Three of these events saved lives...no one involved was a saint. Why were their lives...

How does God pick who will receive a miracle or witness a miracle? And what does do to a person's faith. This has been a topic that has been heavy on my mind and heart for a long time. Had a very good friend that was very dedicated to Christ and knew the Bible backward and forewords. So we spent...

LOL

Now we have some meat to discuss....sink our teeth in. Gooood. God knows everything so, is He judging as we go? Something to discuss. We can get into the scriptures that use the word "everyone" everyone will stand before Christ and every word and every deed will be held into account. It is an...

Ok, Backlit, listen up! LOL. I agree 100% I doubt if you can lose your salvation. The problem....kindly....is that you are not considering the fact that saved Christians will stand before Christ on Judgment Day. I have explained this several times... The Calvinists think that Judgment Day...

Oh but there is so many scriptures about the things that will prevent you from inheriting the kingdom of heaven.

LOL Oh but I do give chances. I may not judge you but I can put you on ignore....see ya, would not want to be ya!
