Thank you! That song was one of my favorites as a kid growing up. Of course it was before this singer's time by a long ways as I as graduated from elementary school in 1957 and from high school in 1961. It was a very different world in so many ways from what we see now.

Amen!

Jesus was the Word of God and saw it all clearly. His vision was a perfect vision... but consider: "Where there is no vision, the people perish:.." Prov 29:18 "For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known." I...

I really believe that God gave us types and shadows to help us understand the reality. In this case the type or shadow of natural child birth! What is the difference between the baby in the womb, the baby in the birth canal and the baby in the light taking his first breath? What is the...

Thanks Rita, I printed your post #50 and my wife put in a call to one of our doctors for advice. When they first came out with flu shots years ago she got the flu. Fortunately she was much younger and stronger then. We will be super careful on this before deciding in favor of a vaccine. We have...

There is of course the possibility that some who claim to have been born of God, have not been... as they continue to yield to the attractions of the flesh. Some will redefine what it means to be born of God or redefine what sin is so as be with the "in crowd", but facades are made to impress...

We can simply look to Jesus' own words about it: "Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On...

And perhaps some that would have died anyway from other conditions already present in their bodies died earlier because of Covid, but without all of the facts, how can even honest unbiased experts [if there is such a critter] who can say? Some politicians or others [?] apparently are striving...

Not having read all of your posts [nor anyone else's] I cannot say why you felt the need to do this. But then speaking for everyone... perhaps??? All of us who have not yet overcome all of the world as Jesus did should certainly regularly do what you have done: apologize! IMHO Should we do it...

And correct actions of the Body are directed by the Head, Jesus being the Head. Even a foot of the Body of Christ needs proper direction before deciding to take a walk.

I have tried more than once to quit this forum completely, but God won't allow me to do that. All of the personal confrontations between people who claim to be believers and all of the politics are very tiring and often accomplish nothing edifying at all that I can see. We can learn a lot from...

Not on the public forum. See PM I was reading everything at the start, but I backed away as the thing got out of hand and I really did not know who to believe or trust. I trust only a couple of doctors I know personally and my daughter, an RN, but none of them are that expert at these things...

Thanks for sharing this Rita. My wife also carries one of those 'epi pen' things. She has permanent damage to her and immune system from being on steroids for 20 years. Years ago when they tried to get her started on allergy injections she went into an asthma attack each time even though they...

And among those labeled as Christian are many tares. Shaking them up now and hopefully all the way out, but are not too many walking in deception and/or delusion, who need the Truth? God knows them all and He is on the job to help anyone and everyone who really wants His help. "Blessed are...

I have no doubt that there is a whole lot of deception involved. I see too much of this in representations from both major political parties with regard also to health issues about which none of them are experts. My point is not against that but rather in favor of the average 'Joe' on the street...

@My Dreams Praying!

There is a real problem in at least the one hospital about which I am familiar. I have not been farther from Oklahoma than Kansas and Nebraska for many years, but what is happening in our only hospital in my hometown is not in doubt for me. You believe you see a cause, implemented or instigated...

Even if it is not an unknown novel virus called COVID-19, it is a fact that Oklahoma's hospitals are very full and their staffs are overworked and stretched to the breaking point. In our city we have only one hospital. My daughter works there as a surgical RN. She says that in addition the...

Without doubt, it was the popcorn!

Consider why King Hezekiah, when told to get ready because would die soon, prayed for time and was given 15 more years [II Kings 20]. Before that he had pleased God, but within the 15 years, we see him make perhaps his biggest mistake... Consider here the words of Paul: "Not that I speak in...
