@My Dreams Praying!

In the Name of Jesus Christ... To me this "dwelling in His presence" is what Jesus called being "in my name" or what we might call being "in His name". "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them." Matt 18:20 The verse quoted above is just one of...

"And the LORD said unto Moses, Speak unto the priests the sons of Aaron, and say unto them, There shall none be defiled for the dead among his people: They shall not take a wife that is a whore, or profane; neither shall they take a woman put away from her husband: for he is holy unto his God...

Perhaps or perhaps they have made it to being part of the Body, but were not quite up to what God required for the Bride! Too little too late? "Thou art beautiful, O my love, as Tirzah, comely as Jerusalem, terrible as an army with banners. Turn away thine eyes from me, for they have overcome...

Many years ago, [about the 1990's] when my wife's asthma was out of control, at the recommendation of her pulmonologist, we made a trip from Oklahoma to Denver to the National Jewish Hospital there that specialized in asthma and other breathing problems. One of the things they showed us there...

Our answer as to what the Bride of Christ is or of whom does the Bride of Christ consist and of how it is different, if it is, from the Body of Christ. I have discussed the Bride versus the Body on this forum previously. I have had ideas and received ideas from others but still I have no...

We can cover the whole thing... or so we believe... and yet miss something essential. I am careful with that word, essential, as some will quickly want to define positively what is essential to a Christian, to a believe in God and His Son. This is one of those ATs [Absolute Truths] that may have...

Many years ago I asked a very knowledgeable and wise pastor [never my pastor] about the tribe of Dan and he immediately understood my question but in his wisdom he also readily admitted his lack of knowledge about it. I spent a lot of time on it myself several years ago, but there are still many...

Consider also the tribe of Dan, missing in chapter 7 of the Revelation. Why?

@Truther Be baptized? Again to John the Baptist: "I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire: Whose fan is in his hand, and he will thoroughly...

Repent or repentance? John the Baptist came to ready people who were not ready. Only the Jews? Were the gentiles ready? Were not many Jews effectively gentiles [heathen] in their hearts? Gentiles [from Matt 6:32] e[qnoß Ethnos (eth'-nos); Word Origin: Greek, Noun Neuter, Strong #: 1484...

"Receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you..." Then to your reference: "Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and...

That alone being that half of those virgins were unprepared and therefore missed him when he knocked contains our answer... if we can understand it.

Amen Sister! Have not seen you around here much lately. Hopefully God is blessing you. I recall you passing through some hard times in the flesh. No need to elaborate. I have you in my prayers.

Give God the glory!

Then back in the day, I used put my tooth under my pillow [there were no ziploc bags in those days] and come morning I was richer by a single thin dime, but for sure with a dime I could buy two candy bars [e.g. Babe Ruth and Snickers] or 12oz bottle of soda.

Praying my friend!

Unfortunately, I know what happens to too many of those lonely old folks. They often die alone even though they have kids, kids who are too busy their own lives to visit just once in a while. That was how it was before Covid 19. Now they have better excuses not to visit their parents. My kids...

No cake. My wife used to bake cakes for each birthday of the older people living in our apartment complex so that no one was "forced" to eat too much. With this Covid 19, management has stopped us from our twice weekly gatherings in the clubroom. We get along because we have each other, my wife...
